Crowd Reaction to the reveal of Killer Instinct at SrewAttack Gaming Convention

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0..." During the SrewAttack Gaming Convention (SGC for short), which took place June 21-23 in Dallas, Ft Worth, Texas a mystery game reveal was saved for last. The crowd reaction to this game immediately had spectators shouting "SGC! SGC! SGC" while raising their fists in the air. After 17 years of waiting, you would be pretty hype too, don't you think!

"C-C-C-OMBO BREAKER!"

During SGC's Iron Man event, Killer Instinct was revealed as their mystery game. Watch the crowd react and then watch Jago hit Saberwulf with a huge ultra combo.

What is SGC? The long and short of it is that you can expect 72 straight hours of fun filled with anything and everything us as gamers want. SGC will take place June 21st- 23rd at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Only 20 minutes from DFW Airport. I can't be the only one who's depressed of how the game looks...the system looks great but the aesthetics

Take the HUD out and the character names and just watch the gameplay. Could you tell it's KI? Could you tell that's Jago?

I'm hype, I'm glad there is a full retail version of the game instead of buying all the characters separately etc. It's good that they give you both options.

Also thanks to the removal of certain restrictions it looks like that there won't be too much trouble making the game tourney viable... I wonder how much exclusivity will hurt the community size though.

Props to SGC though, it's not the biggest convention but they do some pretty awesome things.

Every year at SGC they do their tournament 'The Iron Man of Gaming' usually it's a fighter, a ridiculous game, something else and the 'mystery fighter'

So everyone was Hype they got to play the new Killer Instinct as the mystery fighters, as well as getting to play it generally.

She'll be in.. Too many ppl mained her since she was Top Tier-ish back in the day

This game looks amazing so far and I haven't even seen it at full HD 60 frames/sec.

I'm hoping for a couple of things:
- Air juggles. And not the type you had in the 2, but actual juggles with normals sort of like dudley has in SF4. Knocking your opponent over and juggle him after, even if only in the corner. Now most of the combo's take place on the ground but can you get good damage off of an anti air, for example?
- ALL the older characters and a couple of new ones.
- Different character archtypes. They always were sort of the same with different moves. No grapplers, no really strong zoners.
