Raleigh (Wednesday Night Brawl) has a weekly tournament thats cash payout. We got 3 monthlys now, ReSe (June 15th) which is in charlotte (also west coast biggest regional tournamet). Sodium Intake, new to the block and in Asheville, and lastly Carolina Crash which is also new and in Raleigh. Carolina Crash is happening June 1st https://www.facebook.com/events/144288175754719/
I can tell you ReSe isn't small by any means. People from other states travel just for this tournament. We just aren't a major :/ However you can get seeding points for the TFC. Otherwise, I feel you though. Theres two other players on your side that i know that live in different cities and feel like the travel isn't worth it. Our state is really big so its almost like traveling to another state depending on what part your own.
I'm pretty much the only one who has ever tried to organize something in Jacksonville and honestly there is nothing now that Elite Zone is gone and the fact that there are so few players around. However, we have a handful of players that play and would be glad to play you. Unfortunately, most of the ones around here play on PSN so we'll have to work something out to get a session in.

The only tournament I ever had a chance to go to in NC is CGS. Man Charlotte is 4 hours away and Raleigh is 3. Shit sucks being all the way south bro.

It wasn't so much an organization as it was a hangout. There is like 8 of us who play quite a bit. Dude you might wreck us or we'll show u as much as we can. Either way it's a win win for everyone. Yep. They are one and the same! I know its a bit of a drive but you guys should think about going to ReSe or coming out to Fayetteville every now and then. I have no problems letting yall crash in the living room. If yall come out Fayetteville i'll bring my crew to Jacksonville for some games.
