Helllllooooo everyone,


Just for back from a "meeting" (I won't call it a date because it wasn't). It was indifferent. I can usually pick up that vibe if I dig the woman or not. It just feels awkward. I don't know.


I guess ole Coldbore hasn't been in the dating scene recently and usually just takes some nurses to the storage closet at the hospital once and a while and I forgot what it is like to go "out".

So, I want to hear some of your miserable stories to boost my spirits and have a laugh.


Lets try to keep it PG. (I know I just got done talking about storage closet nurses, oh well).

Pulled out my ***** on the first date. Everything was going well before then, and everything went bad after that.

She assumed I was a player, because she saw the **** was from a girl.

Okay.... I'm in high school so it isn't really the same thing as adult dating but whatever. One time I was going out with this girl, and we had been going out for a few weeks. I was walking to this park to meet her, when I felt a single rain drop. I got a text from her at that exact moment saying, and I quote, "babe it storm". Never heard from her again. True story.

There actually have been situations where my friends have seen her and she has gone to some pretty crazy stuff to make sure there is no interaction. Like she skipped a class for 45 days last semester. Seemed like such a keeper too..... lol jk she was just hot.

I have a few more stories but I will wait.

I had signed up for "match.com" when I was younger (25'ish), and I went on a date with a girl that was 32. It started with some indoor rock climbing in the mid-morning. Things had gone well, so I decided to invite her to a local German restaurant for a late lunch. During the conversation she mentioned that she was divorced. She had loved her ex-husband, but she had wanted to have kids. Although she didn't believe in the traditional "God", she felt that their inability to have kids was some higher power's way of indicating that she should leave her husband. I didn't invite her on a second date.

Another date was with a girl with "shark teeth". We met at a local pub, and every time I said something funny, she laughed. Only a thin strip of teeth was visible beneath the biggest gums I've ever seen. I stopped telling jokes, and the date went south.

Another date was with a girl, I swear to god, that had something that looked like herpes on her EYE. She claimed she accidentally burned it while holding a cigarette for a friend at a party. I didn't even bother to try for the rest of the date, and it ended within a half hour.

In university I asked a friend out on a study date. Prior to the date I had decided, for some stupid reason, to make a meal out of 5lbs of gummy bears. For the entire 3 hour date, I had to excuse myself every 15min, making up multiple excuses every time. No second date there.

4th grade, I was dating two Runescape girlfriends. I set up a wedding with the first one (all official and shit, real talk) only to have the second walk right into it by Pure. Fucking. Coincidence. Never heard from either again.

Hard out here for a pimp.

This guy that likes me invited me out for lunch and we both met up at Cheddars.

He insisted to pay for me, and when he did he said, "You're heading off with me right? I got the hotel room ready to go."

I walked up and left home.
Got a free meal but left for an awkward waste of time and scene.

I met up with a guy for a blind date at a pizza shop and thought I saw my uncle inside when I got there. It wasn't my uncle. It was him. You can imagine how it went from that point on.
