Yea! Zod is okay but I'm more looking forward to seeing some alt character skins.

Well, he's been the poster boy for the phantom zone forever, he was just never a major Superman villain until the movie. I think the idea is that whatever he used to free himself (again) he can use on the fly in small doses, similar to how Raven can temporarily allow himself to be possessed by trigon and Supes can temporarily harness the sun, even though none of that makes an ounce of sense outside of gameplay.
they can create/add to powers/abilities for this game just like Batgirl has never had those claw things before they just created it so she could have a trait
That would be SO good! But both seem really unlikely to me.
Besides, Superman was who fought in the last DLC trailer (Scorpion vs Blackest Night Superman). And I don't think they would show a whole new characters gameplay either. I'm thinking we will just get Zod vs some average skin, if we're lucky we might get another MMH (or other character) hint (or confirmation), but I doubt that too.
