That actually pretty much confirms that Red Hood (maybe Zatanna) is in the next season pass. The fact that he is waiting so long to reveal it pretty much gives it away as he'll probably announce the second pass and confirm that the contest winner will be in it.

Unfortunately you are probably right, since if they fill up the spots on the hero/villain sides, For all the deceptive trolling from Boon it's unfortunate how transparent this DLC has been. Watch we'll probably get stuck with Sub Zero too.
