I heard that Ness had a low chance of being included again. I feel like Villager is going to replace him.

Since Ness was in the first Smash Bros. I would be VERY surprised if he didn't make it. Sakurai (the head director of Smash bros) did say that they are going to cut some characters that they wanted because the roster size is going to be the same on the 3ds and wii u

Bomberman would be awesome but I'm not sure what other attacks he has besides laying bombs lol

I hope they have more stages that DON'T MOVE just personal preference but I absolutely hated that Brawl only had like 3 non-moving stages

I wish for classic stages to come back like the ones from N64 and Melee

Although I'm probably not getting it, I'd really looking forward to the stage builder and I hope it's better than the one in Brawl

I hope we don't get clone characters either. Waste of character slots IMO

One more thing, I hope Nintendo watched my Brawl mini game videos so they add their own mini games into SSB4. Would be a lot of fun

There has been obscure characters in Smash bros before (Game & Watch and ROB) and they have been very well received so just wait and see. Mewtwo was supposed to be in Brawl (He is in the game's coding) but they ran out of time. Judging by the feedback and the trailer, there seems to be more viable stages for tournaments, actual combos, and faster game speed.

I don't currently own a Wii U, but if a bundle comes up with this game I would probably buy one. I gotta admit the Nintendo Press Conference/Direct at E3 really made me miss some of the classic platform games.

I just wish a lot of them weren't so dumbed down. I know it has to be more accessible but a game without an immersive story needs to at least be a bit difficult at times.

It won't be that big. They stated they want to keep it the same size as Brawl. I can see it being bigger than Brawl's roster, but not that much bigger. Balance would be hell. Also not a bad selection list, except that I really hate clone characters like Marth/Roy Link/Young Link etc.

I like your Team Rocket idea though, they would play different enough to not be a clone of Pokemon Trainer. Also agreed that Ridley needs to be in. Badly.

I think Sakurai said in an interview that he doesn't want to do DLC.. but I could be wrong. The roster is allegedly the same size as Brawl. Also I have a terrible feeling that new looking Mewtwo from Pokemon X/Y will make it is instead:

New form of Mewtwo from pokemon X and Y is apparently a thing in SSB for Wii U. Rumor has it that they're taking out Lucario (Thank Fucking Christ! I hate furries!) and replcing him with Mewtwo's new form. Also, we will probably see Snake in the game considering Sakurai is really close friends with Kojima. We also might see sonic again as well. If Megaman is in the roster then I want to see Simon/Trevor Belmont in the game. I also want to see Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes in the game as well due to an interview with Suda 51 around SSBB release. He stated that he wanted to see Travis in a fighting game such as Smash.

I do hope we get new characters in this game rather than the 3 announced.

I really like that Team Rocket idea. If they do pokemon trainer again I really hope they go with different starters. Whatever series has Blaziken would make me the happiest. Maybe even just use the starters from pokemon X and Y.

Don't know about Lucas but Zero-Suit is semi-confirmed by the 'concept art' Sakurai posted (I think)

1. The whole Mewtwo stuff has thus far been speculation only, but it makes sense that the XY version would be in.

The only characters that are likely to make it in are those who star their respective franchises, since Smash Bros is also a really intelligent way for Nintendo to market their various franchises to their consumers.

This likely means Little Mac will be playable (hopefully Bald Bull too), maybe Captain Rainbow, Chibi-Robo, etc.

However, what interests me most is the fact that Namco's developing this game - and with DLC, this means that this Smash could be the most balanced at a competitive level. It also means that casuals will likely complain about any keepaway tactics until they're nerfed into the ground . At least the removal of tripping and increased hitstun are steps in the right direction.

Who I expect to see return, excluding those who are semi confirmed:

• Captain Falcon: Been in all so far + faaaaalcon pawnch!
• Diddy Kong: He's in the new Donkey Kong Wii U game.
• Falco: Original cast, popular, personally don't want him in.
• Jigglypuff: Original cast.
• Mewtwo: Pokemon XY version, heavily rumored/suspected and original cast.
• Ness: Heavily rumored to not be in, but I can't see how, been in all the games.
• Peach: Last 3 games, lady character.
• Zelda: Popular lady character, I mean her name is on half a dozen games...
• Yoshi: All the games.

These plus those who are confirmed and semi-confirmed brings us to 28. If it has the same cast size as Brawl that gives us 9 remaining unannounced characters. Who 'd like to see fill these slots:

• Ridley: It's been a long time coming.
• King K. Rool
• Ganon: A different version, he deserves more than being a Cap clone.
• Banjo & Kazooie: I know it's literally impossible but fuck that noise. I want 'em.
• Conker: Probably not family friendly, but one of my best games. Also impossible.
• Dr Willy/Yellow Devil: Probably already in... I mean he does appear at the end of the Megaman reveal... but he's way too big.
• Koopa Trooper: Changes colour/costume depending on what you need him to do. Red = fly etc. Final Smash could be blue shell.

So the Megaman that Capcom fans so desperately wanted to see in UMVC3 and SFxT is actually going to appear in this?

If Namco are going to include a character, everyone will immediately think of Heihachi or Kuma, but I reckon having Roger Jr, the actual joey without his mother, would be a cool addition.
