For the night owls out there, you will have a special treat in store for you if you're up a little after midnight (on the East Coast). Tonight, to be featured in the "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon", among guests Howard Stern and Alyssa Milano, there will be an Xbox One demo of Killer Instinct being shown.

Killer Instinct is a title that has been dead for many years. While fans have long-awaited the return of the franchise, they got their wish at E3 last week when the new Killer Instinct was announced exclusively for the Xbox One.

So, tonight at 12:35AM EST or 11:35 PM Central tune in to NBC where it will all take place!

yeah, was hoping for something that I had not seen yet. Oh well. Hopefully they have a good showing at EVO.

So that's how Microsoft spends their money. Getting "invited" to popular shows instead of innovating. Sadly it will do the job.

This is pretty standard in the games industry -- and what other console does what Kinect/XB1 does?

If you have a problem with their policy that's understandable and fair; but acting like they don't try to move the industry forward is just salt-induced dishonesty.

Instead of innovating? The whole idea of Xbox 1 is innovation! But because of stubborn people, and their lack of will "To Move On" The concept has been scrutinized to the point where TV shows are needed.

Put simply, the negative Responses given to XB1 has forced them to increase their marketing budget. You know, to calm the fear to the masses.

No I mean that most of the reasons people hate the xbox 1 are pretty well founded

They don't innovate, they merely iterate. And I'm talking about all three major platforms . Well, Nintendo tried to innovate but their concept as of now can be considered a failure. Good try though. My criticism isn't that they "move on" as you put it but rather that they don't "move on" enough. The possibilities with Kinect and the online mandate could be used in absolutely fantastic ways but Microsoft has locked the machine down and what they revealed so far doesn't really show a willingness or the ability for innovation.

The HDMI in is just a gimmick because they lacked the balls to actually include proper cable technology and standards. I can't record anything with it although the technology would be easily capable of it. I still need my TV remote to switch channels. Really? Wow. It could have been the box to rule them all and although they still try to convince people that this is true it is more than obvious that it is just another box with some functionality that won't replace anything else. Not the DVR, not TiVo, not the cable box, not the 360 and due to the low capacity hard drive you will even have to plug additional external hard drives into he xbone before long.
