I hear people whining about graphics and other stuff of minor importance when they should enjoy this epic announcement of a great fighting game that we played and loved so much during our youth... While NRS was wasting time with Injustice, Microsoft made a smart move and made a deal with RARE to remake one of the best games in fighting game history! At long last! We all missed Killer Instinct...

All these people saying how hard it will be for KI3 to be a tournament game should think of this...Built in DVR and streaming. Meaning any and every match will be recorded in high def (pools). AND literally all you would need to stream is a internet connection. Meaning every console could have its own stream provided they have the bandwidth. Perhaps this will force venues to step up their internet OR make tourney organizers choose venues more carefully. Either way, changes will have to be made for the next gen. Doesn't mean its not possible. Hell it might be better.

Yes... but that doesn't really mean much if the game turns out to be horrible... :(

LoL.Exactly...no thanx still to Xbox One. Impressive conference today for sure and I loved some Killer Instinct but that alone isn't enough for me to pay $499 on a system that I still have serious doubts about thanks to what they're putting into the hardware(the DRM,constant online demands/restrictions,Kinect requirements and always on functionality). At least they intrigued me again,I'd be sooooooooooooo happy if this was on PS4. Seeing as how this hack of a company called Double Helix Games is making it tho and not Rare, think I can pass on it and be fine

Was it exciting,was I hype when I saw it,do I wish it was on both systems?? HELL YEA!!!! But I just cant get past the faults with the system and pay $560+ just to play a new Killer Instinct that's being made by a hack company that's never ever even made a fighting game before

The graphics are fine when met with an open mind. That's not to say I don't prefer the darker KI graphics, because I do. However, it's possible the art direction chosen for the KI reboot was to be clean, sharp and artistic so that it ages well.

Usually when games try to be realistic they end up looking like ass a year or two down the line because the realism of its time gets surpassed.

For instance, MK9 will look like ass when MK10 comes out but the way Killer Instinct is looking, I doubt it will look bad in the future because it stresses art over realism.

I'm cool with it and very FUCKING HYPE FOR THIS SHIT!!
