Looks like the bottom meter controls the "Matrix effect" during combos (probably to extend them) with the bar under life being your ex meter or possibly a combo breaker meter system.

Im excited to see how the game shapes up and see what the impressions of some SoCal players are who get a chance to play it.

TBH though, I don't get why people keep name dropping FilthieRich as a reason why the game will be good. I know the guy does alot to help out the FGC/Tekken community, but didnt he leave his job at Namco only a month ago or so? Will a community manager coming in for a few months before the game is shipped really affect that much? I guess community manager is a broad term but I envision someone who does PR, not changes the gameplay drastically.

The game's mechanics/playstyle/engine are probably all set already.

I mean, it really really looked like street fighter, some people even say it could be the same engine (like MK and IGAU share the same engine). And what I fear is that M$ wants to copy SF thinking of its success, but that would be at huge mistake 'cause fans KNOW the HUGE differences between the sagas, at least they could have copy MK......
