Anything into scream, whiff an attack, combo into scream again, repeat

Sonya's d+4~Military Stance block infinite
Self explanatory and I did it first try to show someone lol

Sub-Zero's Perma Freeze glitch

The infamous Parry glitch
Again, if someone puts the link to the Tom Brady video up, I will put it here to show what it is.

Game changing Kombat Kodes, just don't press anything during the loading screen.
PS3 - Kratos and his bastard stage

While the Kabal f32 or d4 into dash cancel block infinite is hella shady, it is impossible to say to the Kabal player that they can't do dash cancels as it is a huge part of Kabal's game.

Because occassionally cars go infront of the screen. Even worse, you can hear them and attempt an unseeable mixup.

Fixed But i tend to agree more so now to leave the infinites alone. for now.

Yeah, plus the Warioware stage gives out those random rewards which ruins competitive play. That should be taken out too.

I honestly don't know why the american scene doesn't just ban infinites. I mean, the London-UK scene bans them, for certain reasons;

1) It's an infinite, duh. Not just that, but a block infinite.
2) NRS are taking them out anyway, so there's no question about their integrity.
3) No-one even likes the infinites, even the Kabal players, so why have it there?
4) It makes the game look bad to watchers and discourages people from playing it.

Well first off, infinite isnt a bad word. Yea, glitch infinites should be banned.

What game companies do to make an extra dollar isnt always good for tourney play. Console exclusive characters will ALWAYS be banned from tourney play. I know there are threads about this on TYM, and quite frankly, without being rude. Ive grown tired of discussing it.

cant rely on a Kombat Kode for tourney play. Thats why I and some others have asked NRS to patch it in to turn this into an option that can be turned on or off from the Options menu.

well we try to make rules and regulations well known, so i would think at least 90-95% of the players know you cant use Kratos, etc. But if they pick them, and wont pick anyone else, they will be DQ's, no refund given either.

well that is the purpose of this thread, even tho [user]Konqrr[/user] is referring to more gameplay elements of MK9, and i was referring to character/stage stuff.

But again, the Kratos thing is very well known even before MK9 came out.

Sorry, why shouldn't infinities be banned? No offense to OnlineTony, well...maybe a little. But every time he's on WNF I just minimize the stream or turn it off. That match against Sektroll was ridiculous, what a great Sektor player he is, and he was beaten by that mindless infinite chipping away at him. I think it's unanimously agreed that Sektroll is the better player...


Temporary fix, NRS? I really don't want to watch this at any upcoming tournament before the patch is released.
