Video/Tutorial Punishing KF's Slide ON BLOCK

Hi.

Here is a short video explaining how to punish Killer Frost's Slide on block with Batman, it is a trait punish.

There is a frame in which you can punish her slide before she recovers, it can be done with one bat just as easily as it can be done with three bats, it doesn't matter.

Not an online punish, as Killer Frost players get away with so much nonsense after the slide without understanding what her actual options are, and they happen to be:

Parry if the opponent tries to d1 (which they don't need to) or a string.
Prepare for a tech grab.
Dash back
But against Batman, think on wake up, don't just hammer it out, if he has a bat and knows this punish, you will eat a combo every time.

Good info as always Glue. I'd hope smart Killer Frost players wont really slide at you when you have bats, but this is good for Frosts that will mindlessly do it anyway.

That's my point, I want killer frost players to realise they can't just do slide with no consequences.

Poor pig...he cannot ask for nerfs because of Kenshi's shoulder.

It shall haunt him forever!

But yes, I think the slide needs to be toned down to be -6/-5 so she can't parry a d1 followup.

Konqrr already let us know about the bats punishing slide. I still haven't played a Batman who's done it but it's still a threat nonetheless.

Yes I can

See the difference is it took 2 years for someone to do something w Kenshi other than me

It takes no time to become a frost player

Tested it, and no. As far as I know, he can't do the same as batman.

Having a trait stocked with sinestro should be enough to cover anything to want to do after the slide anyway. 4 B3 for example. They should respect that, and if they don't...well.

There is no escaping the fact, that it is one of the best special moves in the entire game.

The guess game after it alone is huge, never mind that launches on hit. Incredible move.
