Players in top of leaderboards

half the top 100 has a trueskill of like 25-27 on average which even me and my garbage playing can beat without much trouble. Leaderboards mean nothing. I do also find it hilarious that they previous guy who has TS way higher than everyone else has gone down about 10 trueskill points since they took away the quitting glitch.

i will say that the trueskill score does have some meaning. some..

It does, people generally in the 32 + range give me a challenge, people below 27 or so generally don't. So it does have a bearing definitely. Just funny that the guy who used to have like TS 42 is now TS 32 since he can't quit on people anymore. Which he has done twice now even to me. Those people were the exception but now that the glitch is fixed people around the mid or higher 30's are usually pretty good.

Yeah but i feel that trueskill differs in wich gamemode you play. Just like in mk9 your trueskill level in playermatches was always lower then your ranked level.

Oh definitely, player matches rarely even connect for me which you can totally noob hunt on that. I can't even play my friends sometimes. At least ranked you can't fake a skill level too much because the matching system is pretty decent compared to MK9. I'm pretty consistently getting matched with people around the 29-36 range. Unlike MK9 where I'd fight Forever King then some guy whos like 10-85.

lol in MK my TS was like 34-35 and you'd still Sheeva-fy me.
But yeah there's clearly some merit to the TS system.

No i mean on ranked your trueskill level is higher then on playermatches, i kinda mistyped that last sentence, i edited it now. The thing is in playermatches, you can noobhunt but you wont get higher trueskill level from it, so if you only play noobs you never get high skill level yourself, thats why you see so many ppl with insane winratios but a skilllevel of 24. But when you see a player with more normal stats and high skill level, u can be sure that hes gonna be good

Lol my TS was awful in MK9 though cause I skipped half my matches against people with bad records couldn't be bothered wasting my time. I actually even left matches before it was over beating decent players to see how low I could get it for laughs at one point (TS 16 lol). Do you get matched against decent players pretty consistently in injustice? I find it's much more reliable for matching than MK9 ever was.

I suppose so, it does seem to take forever to gain a point when fighting people around your level and goes down fast if you lose to someone much lower.

I think my TS/level is somewhere in the middle, cause I find the whole spectrum of players haha. I'm always either somebody's first online match, or I'm up against lvl 100 with TS 45 and like 2000/20 or some shit haha. Its just about like MK in Ranked for me.

yeah true, but i hate playing ranked where i have only 1 match to play where i can not adjust, where in playermatches, if i find a good player, he will normally stick around for a time. But its ok i have plenty of injustice players in my friendlist.

what the hell has skill to do with online? you mean with better online you have more skill? makes no sence

......

My point being that online players cannot be judged the same as offline and is nearly another game. I dont even play online cause I get roughly a second of delay.

Yeah I'd definitely get in on some KOTH's or player matches if it would connect even half the time, I play LordoftheFly occasionally when my connection actually allows me to. Wemfs and my connections hate each other in this game. just won't work but we used to play MK9. Oddly enough if I get matched with them in ranked it works fine, must be some wonky setting in my internet maybe. I do like playing a good player a few times, even if I beat them just once and they are better than me I'm pretty content. Even if I don't, at least I get better generally.

Lol that's unfortunate, it's like the total opposite for me playing injustice compared to Mk9's matching, usually decent matches rarely way too higher or too low for me.
