Kano Changes 6/7/11

I just really hope they don't patch Kano up too much. Doing anything else to him other than making the upball more punishable would be excessive. There's too many characters that are way more overpowered than him even with his upball as is.

Tom says that the Up Ball will be punishable by all fast special moves and fast jabs. The whiff recovery will remain the same.

The coming Up Ball nerf ought to silence the crowd. If some people still complain, they should contemplate quitting the game.

I just played Kano and EX knife no longer hits you crouched either, horrah! Now I can actually bait out his ball and punish him without getting killed by the EX knives.

The EX Knife Toss misses on some crouching opponents who are not blocking. Every character should be able to "crouch" it via d+3.

All fast special moves? Like what? If it's something like Nightwolf shoulder...that makes it like -12 I believe. ANYONE would .be able to punish it with a jab, basically.

Tom didn't give me any specific numbers, so I honestly don't know. We'll find out soon.

Up ball punishable by jab? I know the regular ball can be punished by a well timed jab as well, but the startup of up ball means you'd have to predict when Kano's going to do it.
