For a second I thought this thread was going to help OH's scene... then for some reason we (OH) stopped talking about getting together.

ohio does get together man. cleveland anyways. it would be really hard to coordinate a weekly with columbus or even cincy.

Console Combat is coming back. We will ahve monthlies. I will be show to blow it up everywhere when we start up again.

Does Columbus have a scene? I know Dayton/Cinci does, and you just said Cleveland does.


I know Arcade Legacy is holding monthly MK9/UMK3/Injustice/TekkenTag2 tournaments. Maybe we could get other people from other Ohio regions to pop in? Or maybe some of us could come to a Cleveland tournament? (I personally visit Akron a few times a year so it shouldn't be too hard.)

Failing that maybe start a bi-monthly state or regional tournament somewhere?

I would really like to start playing with the rest of the OH scene (Although AL has some good players too, but you know, variety is the spice of life.).

Except both Columbus and Cincinatti both have consistent weeklies already, on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. I'd greatly appreciate it if you stop spreading misinformation

Fromundaman There's generally a fairly decent amount of people that show up to play Injustice at Columbus on Wednesday. I'll personally vouch for Cincy as well, there's a good amount of strong players that have picked it up. This is getting off topic though. If anybody in Ohio wants to know about what scenes are available to them, go to the Ohio thread. Information is readily available there, but feel free to ask if you don't feel like digging around.

The first sentence led me to that, my bad. You're right though, weeklies or even monthlies wouldn't be realistic. Setting up something every quarter or half-year would be doable though.
