Gotta respect the GGA crew, all cool guys and solid players. If me and Denzell had more time, we would've liked to go to the GGA arcade, but maybe in the future we'll be able to do that. I already know they will be coming in full force to evo, can't wait to see them again, and maybe even fight them in some tournament matches.

After clicking on that link I had no idea GGA had so many cabs. You never get a look around the arcade on stream. Maybe this is a good time to post a link to the GGA twitch channel? someone?

Yeah they have 384 working cabinets, 27 being repaired, 30 cabinets they would like to add if they can get them, and they are digging on the shmups forums to find ideas for good eye grabbing top notch shmups, bullethell and danmaku shooters to add.

GGA is an INSANE treasure trove of games. I'd like to go to an event if they host as a weekend deal and just hang out. Do you pay admission and just play the cabinets for free once inside or do you quarter feed like the old days?

Some of the best dudes in the world, and my Doomsday leader GGA Jeremiah is counted among them.

When people ask me what the one thing I want out of this game is (even back during MK), I've said the same thing for a good year or so now: a scene like GGA's, where even if it was only 5 or 6 of us, there'd be enough passion and knowledge between us to make the grind worthwhile and memorable.

THAT is how you truly level up. When you're not the only one in the room who loves what you do as much as you do.

Every tournament I go to from now on I am going to have a full replica ice sculpture throne made so I can sit in it while I play. It will cost me thousands of dollars, but I can't see myself spending it on anything more worthwhile to be honest...

No quarters, 15$ for all night I believe, 5$ for console fighting games only.

no im just kidding guys. you have an amazing scene and you should really be thankful for it. i have not seen a team as coalesced and hyped for each other since a women's NBA team. its competition and we care about winning. its good to have passion. ggs guys. not sure the names of the gga guy i beat to get out of pools... han did knock me out in top 32 though

Ohio has that kind of potential. M2ave, perfect legend, master d, forever king, ribbz, frothy, the black tastic, chupie and a lot more live close (with the exception of PL 2 hrs). I hope we can continue to do our weeklies. maybe we can set up a 5v5 or something?

Not sure which part of Ohio you're talking about (Guessing Cleveland?), but Dayton/Cincinatti's Injustice scene is steadily growing. Seems a lot of the Arcade Legacy regulars are showing interest in this game, as well as a bunch of new guys.

Where are you? I know OUGA is active in a lot of games near Athens (Not sure if they play Injustice though), and Arcade Legacy is a hub for pretty much everything fighting game related if you're even remotely close to Cincinnati.

P2W, hopefully the smack talk by some of the guys at the venue didn't cross the line. I hope we can bury that past and count each other as midwest allies to defeat the coasts (its always EC vs WC, everyone forgets the space in between). Ohio has some great players in both NRS games, and I think doing a team battle would help motivate our training and be hype, as well.
