I live in Algiers in New Orleans, and I would love to get together with some other players from around here sometime. I would have made BBII, but Houma was a bit far and I had other obligations that day. Any other players who might want to get something together in the N.O.?

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed up to BB2. I had a blast hosting this tournament and I did my best to make it official, fun, and competitive. I'm extremely proud to see that you guys are improving as much as you are! Ermaculate_Slim you surprised everyone with that Ermac man props to you! Congratulations Garrett on winning this thing, you played very smart man and showed how well you can adapt. The competition was much stiffer than I thought it was going to be. I hope we all can start meeting for casuals more often. Dont forget Dibbz is hosting fight nights on Fridays now so thats about the best place to keep things rolling. Thanks to Matt for all of his help hyping this thing up and everyone else that brought extra equipment. Thanks Omishdude for buying 20 cheezeburgers.

Just keep working and leveling up guys...the next tournament is right around the corner. Before you know it- we will all be taking a road trip to vegas for EVO! And show the fighting game community that Louisiana has some of the best competitors the world has ever seen.

this is about Friday Night Fight Nights at Dibbz in metarie, some amazing news. Props to Guyingreen- dudes got Dibbz rocking on fight nights now.

Fight Night has become co-sponsored by the EVO-qualifying tournament Final Round.

They're gonna be advertising our event, and our stream.

And starting in November, if you place at a tournament at Fight Night, you not only get the cash payout and the Dibbz gift cards, you also get these "Victory Points".

You can think of it as a Ranbat, I suppose, but the V Points actual purpose is a little more intense than just that...

The V Points carry over every week until the final week of January.
If you come in 1st place you get 5 V Points.
If you come in 2nd place you get 4 V Points.
If you come in 3rd place you get 3 V Points.
If you come in 4th place you get 2 V Points.
If you come in 2nd place you get 1 V Point.

The people with the most amount of points at the end of January for the following games will have their entry fee and lodging for Final Round COMPLETELY PAID FOR.

The qualifying games are:
Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
(Ultimate) Marvel vs Capcom 3
Mortal Kombat
Third Strike Online Edition

Final Round is trying to ship 4 of LA's best out to their tournament

Sup, here from ClassicMK...I'm from Houston, TX but live in Houma Louisiana...I mostly play UMK3 and SSF4 AE but im down to play any other fighter....Looking for some offline matches when ever im onshore and looking for a traveling buddy to start hitting up some of these majors...Hit me up...

What's up man, I live in Houma. I been playing mk all my life and I try to play mk9 competitively. we all try to make it to this place in metarie called dibbz to get practice in every Friday night. So what's ur skills lookIng like in mk9?

Just looked up Dibbz, sounds like a plan to me, I keep my AIM on always so feel free to hit me up anytime...As far as MK9 goes, I don't play much but its no problem for me to pick it back up...I can use Jax and Scorpion a little...You play any UMK3 or SSF4? Im trying to add UMC3 to my list of fighters too...
