When are we ever going to get over this whole "It's too early" thing? It doesn't take a whole month for people to know that bane loses to superman. It's ok if everyone else doesn't want to know but I would like to know how x character fairs against y character without having to master x or y character then finding someone else that has also mastered x or y. We have several characters with match up threads that are still empty. If people want to stop complaining about "enter forum member name's" tier list we need these match up threads up and running. It will promote growth in these character communities and get more people talking about positive things to develop a character rather than awaiting 2-3 mains to provide all the tech for the whole community. For example I have spent a long while as a joker main, I personally think he loses every match against good pressure or good zoning(haha!).
However, if the MU thread was more organized I wouldn't have to read through nine pages just to find out "oh, well joker has a slight advantage in grundy match up." Or something along those lines of what the character mains all agree on. Bam look I'm educated I know something I didn't know! Or, another example, I know joker isn't the best character I want a new main or alt. well, how does Green Lantern fair against most of the cast and why is that? Well, I don't really know right now there's a half done match up chart which I'm not sure is a personal one or a community discussed one. It doesn't have too much explanation to it on top of that.
Inb4 "well spend the time and research" If I wanted to spend a day reading everything about every character and match up in the game I wouldn't need a community. I feel like people spend more time complaining about the game than trying to help everyone including themselves. I would personally make my own match up threads where I feel one is lacking but why do that when there's ones that have existed since before the game came out with spoiler tags that are still empty?
TL;DR Can we please organize and make use of the match up threads that are really set up nice and have existed since the demo launched? I would personally run them all and update them as much as I could if I had the power to. I for one would appreciate game knowledge that was easier to access. Most of us need it, myself included.
