The Next Mortal Kombat Shown at E3? True or False?

As you can see in the below image provided by TYM member SnakeEaterDan , Ed Boon has just posted a potential "teaser" for the next Mortal Kombat title to be shown at this year's E3 convention. Naturally, this has sparked discussions ripe with excitement and/or suspicion. Seeing as Injustice was just released in the previous month, chances are it may be too soon to learn anything about what could be labeled as Mortal Kombat 10.

Could this be a promise on the horizon or just one gigantic troll from Mr. Boon? You be the judge.

yeah its pretty much obvious they will make another mk the question is just when, my hope is they make mk9 with the full roster of mk9 characters but make like another 20 30 new playable characters on top from the mk universe, not asking for much lol

There was a job listing(or still is, idk) on the Netherrealm website about them looking for someone to help port their engine to Next-gen consoles.... So even more modified UE3 it is.
