Never able to settle on a main

So far in Injustice I've been through most of the cast and just can't seem to settle on any one character.

To be honest the only game I've ever gone "this is the character for me" and stuck with them is Venessa in Virtua Fighter, and I'm really not sure what it is about her and her playstyle that grabbed me.

Does anyone else have this issue in settling on a character or am I just a finicky blighter?

I had the same indecisive main problem, but then Batgirl came out lol. Your "true main" could also be one of the DLC characters coming out too, you never know .

I usually pick someone at the start who either ends up being terrible or very tech oriented S tier material.

Started with Sinestro, then Bane, then Joker, then Black Adam, then Grundy, then finally settling on Sinestro again.

After Slade getting beaten to a pulp by the nerf bat I've been thinking on leveling up my GL , AM or Grundy. Most likely GL since the other 2 were also hit by that evil bat.

Going off the other characters that have grabbed me, Dragunov in Tekken and Tina in DOA along with Vanessa they are faster more technical grapplers. I'm not sure if characters like this really exist in 2d games with grapplers being more sloe power characters. Suppose Shazam is probably the closest in Injustice, will have to have another look at him.

Same problem here. except Bane, Doomsday, Batman & Grundy. I main all the rest.

Yeah, Shazam might be your best bet for a fast grappler. Honestly just pick with your gut and rock who you like. I tried Bane, thought he was too hard and went to Grundy, Sinestro, Joker and Lobo before going back to give Bane another shot. Come to find out once I just stuck with Bane and learned his moves I loved him and he completely surpassed my other characters (still play them but Bane is my main man). I know he's severely flawed but I couldn't care less, he's a blast.

Had best of both worlds with great up close and great zoning.

This is the only game where I'm NOT indecisive in picking a main. Batman is my favorite comic book character ever since I was 5 years old(that's when the original Batman movie came out) and even to this day I'm an avid collector and comic book reader( Batman, Batman and Robin, Batman inc).So when this game came out I naturally picked Batman. In other games I'm terrible at picking mains and flip flop characters on a weekly basis( still can't settle on one team in marvel till this day lol)

Screw the haters and screw the tier lists. If you like Doomsday then rep him hard. Yeah he's one of the "safer" characters but that's pretty irrelevant in my opinion. If you like the character and you enjoy destroying people with him then go for it. If somebody cries because "that move is so easy, omigawd DD is so hax" they suck. It's as simple as that. I used to rage when DS would gun spam me until I realized "if I didn't suck I could beat this..."

I had the same problem with MK9 too. There's no single character that interests me enough to put all my focus and time into. Main reason I haven't played in 2 weeks. Just nothing really new and exciting I feel I can learn or do. Was hoping Sinestro and Cyborg would play completely different. But yeah, stuff like this happens a lot. Either there's too many interesting characters or none that are interesting enough.

I always find one character I have more fun with than others. Then I develop a loyalty where I refuse to play any other characters (unless they're zoners).

It's easy for me to narrow it down because I cannot play rushdown characters, and zoning characters are only good as secondaries to troll with (would never main one, as they are boring). There is always that anti-zoning, pseudo broken, easy-to-use character in an NRS game for me.

I always have the trouble in the beginning with who i Iike the best versus who I'm the best with. So far I'm the best with Green Lantern although he's not my favorite character. In MK, scorpion has always been my fav character but for some reason I play the best with Sub-Zero.

But since you said Dragonove a sweeping spacing, mix up, faint char,,, think Night-wing would be a nice choice for you, I don't play him, but he sounds like where your looking for or at least closest

Thats the defo the same with me dude. I started off with deathstroke. got super bored quickly. Then I went to Bane. I started recognising some horrible matches quickly, then I ended up moving around for a bit. I played Bane all last night and started winning apart from the superman match up. So I either lean how to deal with supes with Bane properly or I counter pick that match. I think Bane is main. I think.

Not in Injustice, Aquaman is too awesome not to play him. The only thing he needs now is an alt with long hair and beard.

Wow that is weird. I've yet to play a Lex online. I thought nobody used him haha. Good for you though.

I understand 100%. I originally wasn't having fun with this game at all until I played Deathstroke. He had a great balance of zoning and a up close game that kept him fresh. Since getting hit with the nerf bat he leans more towards rushdown. It's not as fun having less options so I'm looking around too.

I go to CEO 2 locals a month other than that im an online player. Right now ive won 75+% of my matches with killer frost i guess shes my main as i use her at the 3 tournies ive been to. But if i play online longer than an hour i get bored and half to play someone else its this ADD that prevents me from realizing my full potential with Ms Frost. I just cant bring myself to really grind out matches with 1 character during a long session.

I've actually found myself settling on Doomsday, not quite what I went into the game looking for but if he works for me I'm not going to complain.

Absolutely love the diversity of the characters in IGAU. I play Batgirl, Shazam, Nightwing, Harley, Wonderwoman, Aquaman, GL, GA, Hawlgirl. I just can't seem to stick with one and master that character though Nighwing is coming close.
