I mean, really? Is this what is going to come in the next patch? This anime style costume pack?

Every time I see figurines and models of comic book characters turned into Ame-Comi anime characters, I just want to blow my brains out.

It does not look good. It looks like crap.

Comic book characters do not look good anime style.

It's like those people who draw Adventure Time and Family Guy fan art anime style on Deviant Art.

Some things just don't look good anime styled. Not everything in this world needs to be turned into kawaii desu garbage.

On the flip side, some things don't look good American style either. You ever see Goku drawn and him not look anime style? He looks terrible.

I've seen some great american style Goku's, and some of the Ame-Comi designs are pretty cool.

I hate Ame-Comi style with righteous fury. So I'm not exactly redonkulously excited... especially as it's for the same characters!

Then dont use them. Your problem is more with Ame-Comi in general than with the models NRS did of them. Plus, why the hate? Some folks only read manga and this tactic actually worked at helping DC penetrate that market to lure them into their mainstay product. Its a business thing and a good one. The fact that it was celebrated and put in the game was a way to pay tribute to the DC fans who were first brought into DC through Ame-Comi luring them in from the Manga side of comic sales.

You are right, I hate them because of the look/genre, but yeah manga is manga, not everyone likes every look etc. and I stated in one of the other threads I probably won't buy them, which is unusual for me.

But the issue is mainly for the choice of characters! We've had a skin pack for WW, HQ & CW before, and now we are getting another (one would assume) skin for those three while there are still characters with only two!? It's a little ridiculous. But I'm sure they'll sell well, it's just as personal preference there are different sets of comic outfits & different characters I would rather see them on first.

Hate was perhaps too strong a word, but I certainly dislike the choice.

Pics are in a thread in DLC/Request Forum.
Don't know when/if this is actually happened.
Apparently found by using hacked Xbox and routing around in the latest patch.
Theory is that as Red Son is on disk, this was what would have been pack 2 this week if not for Red Son, thus the data was downloaded this week.

I would of rather had this Wonder Woman i didn't even notice hers was different looks to much like her regime outfit.

That Catwoman p2 is so fucking sweet ...all day everyday...
My only problem so far is those Hawkgirl & Batgirl ones make me want more of them...

That Batgirl looks slick. Definitely should be added as DLC. And that WW costume would be damn good to add to my collection :tonyt
