Nope.

If you like Man Thing more than Swamp Thing, that's cool. And yeah, Swamp thing started as a Man Thing rip-off. However, he's evolved so far beyond Man Thing. If you haven't read them, I suggest you read Moore's run of Swamp Thing. That's when he changed from a "muck encrusted mockery of a man" to an extremely complex, powerful elemental. I don't think there's a better deconstruction of a comic character.

Obviously I would prefer Poison Ivy, but it would still be awesome to have someone with plant control and at the end of the day he would probably make a lot of people happy. So I'm going to go ahead and vote yes as he's probably the more likely of the two.

Still though, Poison Ivy is a boss.

I would hope he would. He's quite interesting, and could be the Poison Ivy of this game, since most people don't want more Batman representatives. He could look more swampy instead of humanesque. He could have moves such as:

- A regular teleport using the ground.
- A move similar to Marrow of MvC2. He could hunch over and sharp twigs and vines could shoot upward out of his back.
- Vines for a command grab.
- Something using swamp water maybe?

Was in another thread and I was talking about sorprion being 'de-confirmed' ( or just boon trolling the web) and rememebered this tweet from Boon.

“is SPRING considered the second season?”

To me, this would indicate that maybe swamp thing will be in the second season pass?

Thought that was a MASSIVE hint? wasnt swampthing in the pile of comics on boons desk in a past tweeted photo too?

Just because he said the thing about Spring doesn't mean that Swamp Thing is hinted, it's only hinting that there may be another pack of characters down the line.

It would make sense considering that the PS Store has removed IGAU from their season pass section, since it's not even a season pass if you release more than one.

I haven't seen the picture you're talking about but a link would be great.

doubt it, he just said that because its spring now and the comics he posted werent a hint he posted Batwing too

I've been waiting for Swamp Thing since I heard this game was announced. If he ever gets in, I will go back to Gamestop ASAP and buy this game back. I would pull an all nighter on his release day and only use him until this game dies off.

Vixen would be awesome, her totem power set could be her trait it would be godlike.
