What does the ''Tournament Mode'' code 111 111 stands for?

Sorry if this is a rather dull question, but i would like to know what exactly happens with the code 111 111 - tournament mode. Also are there any gameplay acceptable codes that doesnt effect the core gameplay and can be used? I am asking because i would like to arrange a MK9 show match on live on TV. I decided to switch off the blood so the game and the show doesnt get labled as ''violent games'' and stuff.

Thanks in advance

I know at least one chage to the game with the tournament code input is that you will not get the first strike bonus that adds 1 bar to your special bar. Not sure what else it does but that's the major thing I noticed

Me and my gaming buddy love tournament mode. We don't really like how much a difference that 1 bar makes and foreground objects can be seriously annoying. Sadly, it's been said that tournament mode will not be an option in tournaments! (laugh)

This may change eventually if players voice their opinions to the benefit of TM.

You're not alone in not knowing this, but its kind of inexcusable for people running tournaments to complain when the alternative kode retains the 1 meter first hit advantage.

Foreground Objects Disabled 001-001

ONE BUTTON!

That's not too hard for you guys is it? :p

or how about the "I don't want fatalities, but I don't like zombies"

Explosive Kombat 227-227

Still, though, there should be a custom match option which allows you to add/remove gameplay modifiers at will.

When we started playing MK9, my buddies and I laughed a lot with this code, because we always put it and we didn't noticed the difference. Only after a while we started to note the changes. Honestly, I don't think that the extra bar for first hit can make that much of a difference between casual players like my friends and I. But in hardcore level things could be another story.
