He doesn't 'need, anything. He isn't a character that gives two shits about matchups in the first place. All he needs is meter and a knockdown and everybody is in for trouble. You cant make that type of character too good or the game suffers cause people are forced to flip coins every minute they are on their back.

Mb bolts suck, sorry. Teleport isn't raiden's. Sorry, get better as a player instead of anchoring a momentum character as to why you lose.

I don't think you need to have Shazam as your main to speak about him. You just need to have an informed and useful contribution/opinion.

Yes, but why does it matter who I main anyway? Me not playing shazam doesn't change the fact I'm right about him. He's not likely to ever get a mobility or anti zoning buff because he's meant to be zoned out. That's his counterbalance for being so good on knockdown.

You've probably only played shazam with about 1-4 characters.

i'm here to defend the shazam mains and let them have their opinions, they know what is best for their character, Not some guy who's only played against shazam and understands them as a whole.. sorry but even the attitude you displayed earliar not acceptable.

Well no, nobody KNOWS for sure but.........I'm kinda guessing, like everybody else? I think he has very good tools and people think cause others tools are better, automatically he sucks. He can still hurt you

Deathstroke has terrible wakeup, if I get in and get a knockdown I win. Flip isn't invul and its heavily punishable. Spin is safe but can't aa. So I xan just meaty j.2 and beat both his wakeups or command throw if he thinks i'll mistime a meaty jump. If I do throw and he does spin, it doesn't hurt at all. If he mbs it and throws me fullscreen he burned a bar for 15 percent. I will take that wager bar from him free of charge amytime.

I think all Shazam needs is a better teleport. That's it. Not too good but him and Ares both have shitty ones at the moment.

MB lightning? Why not just use regular lightning if you're counter-zoning? :16Bit

Don't crap on Ares' teleport. It's one his better tools for counter zoning.

Thats the general consensus: Teleport buff and MB bolts buff.

At this point there is no real use for MB bolts other than "chip damage." But if the opponent is competent, they will know they can hit Shazam out of its startup on the MB bolts. So really, against someone who is competent, the Shazam player will not be able to chip him using MB bolts.

Someone suggested to add armor on its startup. That will at least make it more useful to do what its meant to do now [to chip -.-].
