Clashes Cause Some Characters To Lose Trait.

Some characters will lose full trait after clashes for no reason. I have only noticed it with a couple of characters so far, but it is a big issue and is probably the number one reason I am making this thread. The two characters I remember seeing it with off the top of my head are Aquaman and Flash. They would have full trait going into a clash, and after it was gone having to wait for their trait to cool down for no reason. Now idk if this is some crazy game mechanic I wasn't aware of, and if it is please correct me. However I don't think it is and it should be addressed.

Are they losing their traits while they are innactive? If so that sucks.

My thoughts exactly if they were active going into a clash it makes sense, but if they are inactive that, sounds more liek a bug instead.

Wait now I'm confused, so if they go in to clash without their trait then their trait has to cool down?

The Clash-Trait interaction is pretty weird: some keep it, others lose it but don't have to recharge it, and others lose it and have to recharge it.

For instance Batman loses his Bats but can call them back again afterwards.

Hmm...maybe it adds depth to Metagame?
Don't really know how it would apply though, but I agree that sucks. Imagine adam leaves the enemy at traits death, then he loses it from clash, then loses the trait and gets chipped out afterwards lol.

Aren't they time based? Clashes are long...and does aquaman need it any easier?

Lex loses it sometimes after he beats someones first health bar because of the time.
Shyguy No they are going into clash with trait off, and when they come out they have lost their trait anyway.

I think it was intended that some characters lose their traits after a clash or a transition, because they're both meant to return the momentum of the match to neutral. But if they inconsistently lose it without being active, that sounds like a bug that needs to fixed.

A character losing his/her trait doesn't send the match back to neutral though. It doesn't consitently happen either though.

I agree... it sounds like a bug. I just have one question... does it happen to everyone who has to wait for their trait? I didn't notice that happening with Batman. Is it just Flash and Aquaman?:16Bit

I don't know. I guess we could try tweeting it to Boon/Injustice. I never noticed it happening though. I use Aquaman a lot... but I don't ever need his trait after a clash... Flash? Yeah... never use him. I suck with Flash. I will try to tweet it though. :16Bit

Just like how a clash or transition puts you both back midscreen, losing an active trait makes the match closer to neutral than if they still had it. I'm not saying i agree with it, just that it seems intended.

Losing your trait when you haven't even activated it on the other hand, does not seem intended

No I understand the point you were trying to make. I think we were just on a different page lol.
