How do i kill Ermac?

Hi guys,
i recently moved to MK from a turtle Balrog in SSF4 and finding the transition a bit of a pain due to the in ability to Turtle.
I since then chose kung Lao in order ti get used to moving in fast and tearing it up but recently i have found Ermac to be a complete nightmare i pretty much have to wait for him to whiff something before its even remotely safe to get close.
His gravity squeeze is confusing and seems to hit even from behind him his teleport looks like his fireball.

Any tips?

Dash block cancels. A whiffed gravity squeeze can be punished from sweep range and up close its game over. A whiffed teleport is probably the easiest thing to punish MK as for a few frames as they bounce off you and touch the ground they are fully exposed for combos. Throws against Ermac are great as Kung as you can correctly read a wake up TKL/TKP and punish appropriately.

Well the start up for gravity is very quick which makes it hard to dash
Throws against Ermac are great as Kung as you can correctly read a wake up TKL/TKP and punish appropriately.
Need to try that

Also the jumping down kick gets over the tk moves if done right.

Make really short dashes >> BLK, you should be blocking a Sqeeze here and there and then you can risk a further dash.

As you are getting closer and get into Jump in range, the Ermac player might do a jump in on you, so be ready for that with a Spin punish into a good combo.

I have trouble seeing divekicks going over sqeeze, dont recall seeing that so far.
 
the first thing i always try when facing a noob saibot, ermac, smoke, etc. i block and will faint a move by pressing the crouch button a few times, sometimes they bite and go for the teleport and when that happens, its all yours to do whatever you want to them.

You might be right. The game is different online.
And Dive kicks dont work over gravity squeeze

dash block cancel isn't strictly the answer to getting in on ermac. A decent ermac player will push you back a little with blocked tkp and if you dash block ermac can dash forward into throw and it's guaranteed. If you start getting keen on the dash throw and try to escape throw, he can combo into 312 and get a free jp, which if hits leads to another 312, or 22 tks jk~tp df 22 tkp; if blocked leads to guaranteed throw and you're back where you started.
