Online broken?

Stop Zoning.
Hey, I'm a newbie, or noob at injustice, and it seems like all I can find playing online, ranked AND player matches is either spammers or someone way over my league to play against. This is very frustrating and makes me just turn off my console straight away, is it only me experiencing this?

I spent a *lot* of time in training before going online.

If you want to add my PSN id, you can always send me a request for "online training", and we can just go back and forth for awhile without any W/L crap. I'll be on late tonight.

I've spent more than 5 hours in practice mode practicing combos etc.
Practicing combo's are the easy part of learning a fighting game. You need to learn how punish, how to move and how to even begin your combo's. You learn by getting your ass kicked repeatedly until you slowly get better- slowly is the key word there. You can also stay in training and program the computer to perform a series of moves that are giving you trouble and work on your punishment and countering.

5 hours ins't enough fighting games take a long time to understand everything and get all the matchup knowledge. Spammers are easy to beat you dont have to make reads you already know what they are going to do. Ill use deathstroke as an example, if they just want to use guns over and over again just dash block in then destroy them. Deathstroke becomes a lot scarier when the player is reacting to you and making reads while mixing up his offence. Losing is the best way to get better as long as you learn from your losses. Instead of leaving a match after one game stick around for 5 maybe even 10 games just to learn. People get too salty too fast if you want to win or be good without effort it's just not going to happen. The person who put more effort to get better will always beat you. Every online match you play with a random is not evo take every game as a learning experience if a tactic annoys you just go to practice mode and record the AI to do it so you can find out how to beat it.

Play the spammers, don't get salty when you lose, understand what they were doing and think about how you can punish it/play better next time. As long as you don't care about losing you'll get better and eventually crap all over the gimmicky players :)

Well, I'm pretty sure people aren't spamming per say lol. They're probably throwing a lot of projectiles at you right? Use the record feature in practice mode and learn how to get around them. The record feature is your best friend.

None at all :D
lol, well I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but it will take years before you become competent, let alone good, at fighting games.

Unless I guess you're some sort of prodigy which is always a possibility.

The good news is you have a whole world of satisfying challenges ahead if you're willing to grind it out.
