Online is barren?

Ok, so why is the online so dead? I know people have work to go to but the numbers I'm seeing in these online rooms are ridiculous. As of now there are 3 rooms with people in them. each containing 20, 1 and 2 people respectively. There are 8 rooms with 0 people in!

Using the quick search feature to look for KOTH, Survivor or Player matches I always get put in the same rooms again and again or get matched with the person repeatedly. What's going on? why is the online so BARON?

PS. It's 2pm right now where I'm from.

It's 10am here, and judging from your time zone I am going to assume Europe.

The standard time zones are 3-4 hours back from me which would make it 6/7 o clock respectively in NA. Not a whole lot of action. Peak time for you would be around 2 or 3am.

Hmmmm Its 2pm thats the middle of the day, this game played by mostly working adults and teeenagers. The game might also be region based as well, so what you are seeing is while you play online you are seeing everyone is either at work or at school, try logginbg in in the evening or even after 9pm. I'm not insultin you, but I'm seen plenty people playing online and Haven't any issue finding opponents.

I know it's the middle of the day and people got shit to do but come on, barely 30 people in online rooms through the whole of Europe?

Anyway, I wasn't mocking you BTW and hope you didn't take my sarcasm as that. It is likely just a slow day it happens in games like it does in stores and restaraunts.

No offence taken. Just thought 30 people online throughout the whole of Europe was a bit suspect.

I have to agree tough, im from europe and around 12pm here, i hardly see any players, and i play on xbl so its not regionlocked.

For players to show in rooms they need to be in the rooms. People who predominantly play ranked or basically anything not in a room won't show up there.

I mostly play ranked between 2am to 5 am EST and I never have problems finding matches, you are basically using the wrong metrics to determine how popular the game is online.

I know that. But 30 in player match rooms in the middle of the day is a bit strange. Of course there are people playing ranked. In fact I might be able to name them all seeing as I get matched with them repeatedly.

Timezone, bro. Your evenings is the U.S. mornings. Early mornings. Most people are either at work or school.

Try playing around 8pm or later.

Yeah waiting 20 min for a game ranked or player match is pretty obvious to tell there isnt much ppl online...even at evening now i have a hard time finding a game. Everyone declines and i get matched up against the same ppl for the last hour...:/

Isn't the game region locked? Even if it isn't... 30 people would make the online dead. That is not a lot at all. There is probably more people on MK9.:16Bit

Like I said, if you can play people from U.S./Canada servers then from 12pm to 6pm, people are usually sleep, at school, or at work.

I believe the U.K. uses the U.S./Canada severs as well.(If not, certain part of Europe does) Because I believe bettyswallaux is from the U.K. and I can play him.

I can play people from all around the world. Which makes the numbers I saw today even more worrying.

The first few months MK9 was out rooms were nearly full, despite what time it was. Maybe IGAU isnt selling as quickly as MK9 did idk.
