I think its going to happen eventually, they can only live off of SF and MvC for so long before they have to make something fresh, right now NRS is showing them up big time. Truth be told first time I played Skullgirls I was reminded of Darkstalkers, I mean a zombie cat lady kinda fits in, no? And one of the guys who made it has a video showing himself drawing a new character he'd like to use in D4.
