Real talk... do people just like Power Girl because her boobs? I seriously don't understand... I seriously don't.
Someone please tell me why people like this character aside from the way she looks. I'm honestly asking for someone to answer this question.
I read every issue of her Comic, and alot of the one's she guest stars in.
I'm not entirely fond of how she is portrayed in new 52 at the moment but we'll see.
But I'm just gonna state MY opinions of why she's bad ass.
1.) She is smart rich and successful and owns a company that deals with science so she often gets "gadgets herself"
2.) Some iterations she is actually immuned to kryptonite because she's from another dimension, but she has other weaknesses like sonic vibrations ect. (in some she's still weak to kryptonite)
3.) She's a real good guy, and literally strives for good will, while taking any crap thrown at her w/o much of a grudge.
4.) She's lead the justice league a couple of times
5.) Batman approves, "You're one of the best we got." so he says.
6.) my favorite moment was when a villain tried to start 3 disasters at once. Trying to force her to choose who to pick and save. A fellow hero friend who's about to get murdered, the leaning tower of piza'(SP?) was being pushed over and could kill hundreds, or 1 little indian girl in the middle of the ocean.
She instantenously throws a huge boulder into the ocean. Flies over to save her hero friend, quickly zaps coordinates (with her eyes) for her in the sand and tells her to go there. Saves the tower, while he friend heads to the coordinates. She's late, but that boulder she threw earlier caused a tital wave to stop the villain from killing that indian girl. Her friend saves the indian girl just in time, while powergirl is still rushing there to help finish off the last guy.
at the SAME time, at each location she heard the radio signal from the villains, and triangulated the positioning of where it was being broadcasted from by using all 3 locations to find the hideout.
That alone was freaking epic.
