1 + 3 Combos can't be done with throw button instead? D:

So, I changed hard attack from "X" (PS3) to "O" due to playing Soul Calibur V with my girlfriend and now the combos requiring light plus hard seems impossible. For example, Lobo can't be fun for me, though I might just use Aquamans f2, 1+3 because his character power doesn't require any animation. So is there no other way than changing the controller setup once again? Or is there somehow another way to keep my controller preset?

Welcome to TestYourMight.com!

Using the Throw button doesn't solve the issue? I'm guessing no, since you are asking for other ways.
I don't think there are any other ways, sorry for not being of good help.

Yeah, I don't think you can use the throw button to do 1+3 in combos like you could in MK9. I don't like the design choice on that, would make perfect sense if you could just press the throw button.

But anyway, welcome to the site sir. :)

Thanks for the clearance, well I guess I'm just gonna have to learn to look like a retard when doing combos with 1 + 3 then. Also thanks, took me alot of time to figure out the "Noob Saibot" question. :D

Put down the controller and run!

I have the same problem!

Yea, I've tested this back in Week 1 with a lot of characters. It sucks that you can't use throw button but or well.

But you said you configured Light attack to be O right? How about I suggest you playing with 2 fingers Tekken-style? Try it with this config:

1 = O
2 = Triangle
3 = X
Trait = Square
MB = L2
Interactable or Stance Change(Recommended for Super) or Throw = L1 (The reason for this is because all these could be done by using the face buttons as well,See below)

Interactable = 1+2
Stance Change = 2+3
Throw = 1+3

I could try it out a while in arcade just to get the hang of it, gonna be hard getting used to it though :/

Tested your tekken style, but I kinda felt it was wrong, just gonna stick to characters like Green Arrow and stay the hell away from Lobo.

If you insist on playing with your thumb then I could also suggest that you switch 2 and 3. That way your thumb will be comfortably placed on O and Triangle (1 and 3) to do throw commands.

I'm gonna try that one out, see if it feels better that way, if not I will stop taking your time and rather try using square + O with two fingers. Thanks for your help man ^^
