When Ed Boon says he has worked with and works with geniuses, it's no lie. One of the NetherRealm Studios' artists working on Injustice: Gods Among Us over the last two years has finally been able to share some of the art he worked on for the game. The concept art he has released features characters and stages... some designs of which we've never seen before. These are early concepts that likely helped determine and polish the final appearances as we see them today.

"At last the game I've been working on for the past 2 years is finally out! They wanted us to go in a live action summer blockbuster movie direction with these designs. Hope you like them!"
