MK9 was just the characters from MK1-3, with the exception of QC and Kenshi. My point is there is always time for them to make more DLC characters and put in more wanted characters from the DC universe. If they go ahead and get this Scorpion thing out of the way we won't have it get in the way later.

Well he was a new character altogether, if we were going that route Skarlet was on that list too.
a lot of people don't think we will get any more DLC so I thinks thats a major reason why most people are about about him being DLC
We will have a way better chance of getting more DLC if we go ahead and buy this set. Ed Boon has said he isn't so sure if he will keep it to just four DLC characters this time around. So if all rumors are true, the best thing we can do is support what they put out and hope they reward us with more.
Scorpion would offer something insanely new. He uses fire for most of his moves. A Pyrokinetic was missing from the main roster.
That is why I said... yeah right. He would offer some of the most unique moves in the game. I don't know what people are smoking. They might even make his teleport more like Mileena's so that it would work. People are just so close minded sometimes. :16Bit

I know what you mean. Batgirl is in the game because of her comics... and she isn't wearing a New 52 costume. You never know though. Zod is supposed to be the movie tie in. We shall wait and see. :16Bit

The only way I could see Zod in here is because of the Man of Steel movie. And deep down that does bug me, but I guess that's what happens.
