REAL MK fan? Doesn't mean shit. I dished out half of my paycheck so I can play MK9 in a country with economy gone to shit. Not a small investment for me (can't afford to many luxuries); and I really wanted to skip this gen consoles. I still dread the idea of Scorpion in this game.

Wow. OK this was way back there now, but let me answer anyway:

Zatanna - For some reason they keep trying to push her. She was even in Smallville, she also has appeared in other video games

Starfire - Teen Titans Go. I keep seeing requests for her since Cyborg and Raven are in (Not to mention Nightwing)

Black Canary - Another character DC has tried to push outside of comics. They already flashed a picture of her in the scene with Green Arrow

Beast Boy - See Starfre

Alan Scott (Golden Age Green Lantern) - They just got some major mainstream media exposure by making him gay. Having a major gay character is probably considered a bonus to showing diversity.

Mirror Master - He had a major role to play in the Injustice comic, would fit right into the story of the game. Also a famous member of the Flash rogues gallery.

Heatwave - Major Flash villain, no fire based powers in the game so far.

Gorilla Grodd - Another major Flash villain and one who actually has some animations already completed. Even showed up the credits.

Count Vertigo - Major Green Arrow villain who has been seen in the Arrow t.v. show


Black Lightning - Another character thrown in to help expand diversity.



Now, Atrocitus may be popular at the moment, but his more mainstream appeal is in question. His major drawback (and this fits Alan Scott too) is that his powers are ring based, making him too similar to Hal and Sinestro.

Now, all of the above is strictly based on my opinion. I could be, and probably am, WAY off base. Some of them I put because *I* would like to see them in the game ahead of Atrocitus. Of course my opinion is that they would never put Scorpion in the DC game...and that has the most likely odds of happening if anything.

If I was still salty I would be bitching about killer frost thats like the only time I have ever been salty on this site
I'm not salty about the Batman character i'm just using it as an example to why we don't need any more as future DLC

first of all, no more batman characters...period. i dont care how popular he is, its supposed to be a dc fighting game right? and on that note i will take any dc character over another mk character. i dont even think i will get scorpion, probably just the other 3. if they do another season pass, compared to the first one the only disappointment would be another batman or mk character.

What is this talk about being Real MK fans means you want Scorpion in the game. I've been playing the MK series since the 90's, This isn't MK, they have been preaching it's not MK for months. If Scorpion is not in MK10 we can bitch but this isn't MK. I don't complain when some dude from Manhunt isn't in GTA 5, or when master chief doesn't show up in Fable because that would be retarded too. If NRS is so concerned about branching out and doing a series different than MK, THIS IS IT, it's a good game, every other non MK game that they have made has been mostly garbage. If they want to be known only as the MK guys carry on add more cameos for the extra couple of bucks, if they want to be known as the company that finally made a cool DCU game they should keep MK away.

Oh...and just for the record...I would rather see Dr. Fate and/or Firestorm more than anyone I listed above. Yet I am resigned to it being Scorpion. Just gives me someone to always use to beat up in training mode <insert evil clown face here>

I don't think you understand. Most of us who want Scorpion... only because he is a possibility. We wouldn't complain if he didn't get in... and we would certainly not bring up the idea unless NRS already did it for us. :16Bit

Well I'm not trying to be negative here or be in the raging mobs. But the whole idea of having a totally different game is to actually have a totally different game. that's what kind of annoys me I've been playing with or against scorpion for over 15 years since I was a tiny little kid. I just think they are ruining the purity of it being it's own thing by adding in unneeded guest characters. MK9 fine, sure it made sense, already had everyone relevant from MK 1-3 but were missing so many key Justice League characters it's insulting to have the possibility of Scorpion put in instead of people that actually belong there.
