No I don't think they will go that far. They have already spent a lot of time developing the DLC characters and should definitely leave whoever they have in the season pass in. Otherwise that was a waste of time and money and again, could dissuade them from doing more. If they have already made MMH, just sell him seperately from the season pass. I'll still pay for him.

They won't sell DLC no one would buy. If NRS thinks Scorpion won't make a profit they'll save him for later.
We don't know if they are shite. Not liking a character and a character being bad in this game are going to have to be seperate, it's just that simple. You may not like Batgirl, Zod, Lobo or Scorpion as a character choice, but if they end up be truly good characters in this game (which if I'm going off of just Lobo so far and what I've seen that will be the case) then I think you will simply have to hold that and respect what they have done with the game.
I recall Boon said in an interview that for MK9 they decided to swap out a character at the last minute and it was a nightmare.

I agree except in the case of Scorpion. It's not unreasonable to want DC in the DC game you bought and the subsequent season pass. If I wanted to play as Scorpion there is a fantastic series of games that I can buy to do that.
Lets be real... a lot more people know Scorpion over a random DC character. The only ones I think people who don't know much about DC want are MMH and Black Canary. Real talk.:16Bit
Although it may not be what you wanted, it's still a great way to market and sell MK through another series. They may want this game to be it's own established series, but they still want MK to sell too. Not every decision is for the fans if you know what I'm sayin'.(Even though we all probably feel it should be that way) Plus there are going to be tons of casuals who eat that shit up. I didn't want Scorpion either tbh, but I'm still going to get the character and give him a shot. Who knows maybe I like him in the game in the end, I know I ended up liking Freddy.

people are forgetting another reason this game was made to promote DC character get people to buy the comics so saying Scorpion being more popular doesn't mean anything
