We'll do a money match then during casuals or something. Trust me, I really wanted to make it myself since my MK disk cracked and I've been going through a withdrawal , but I just need to make sure I take care of everything before I leave.

Also, on another note, Al has showed interest in getting a capture setup going so here's the options I looked at:
1) Cheapest option: I have a USB Dazzle video converter. Now the problem here is that it's RCA and definitely NOT HD. So here's a solution I've figured out for this: get a component cable (laggier than HDMI on my TV but not by much) and use a RCA female-to-male extender to get to the Dazzle. This will mean very low quality sound and I don't know how good it'll look coming out on the video screen either.

2) Get a dedicated HDMI capture setup. This is much less cheap ($150 on average), so I can't afford it on my own. I am however willing to put 50% towards getting it on my own if others are interested. This means joint ownership and possibly drama if there's ever a split in the community, so it's YOUR call on this one. What the HDMI setup means tho is: HD recording, streaming (I have old omni-directional microphones we can use for this and a high quality headphone) and in-game sound.

Let me know what you guys think about it and we'll make something happen. I could definitely get the Dazzle setup going next week for a test run to see if that's acceptable and we can go from there.

Also, I've got some stuff to take care of on Tuesday so I can't make it to Ottawa then, but I can host around 4:30 at my place if that works for you guys. Usual stuff applies and so on and so forth.

Okay starting this week I have a new work schedule, I will update all of you about the details as soon as I know, but so far it seems, assuming the GF is busy, I'd have my Fri & Sat nights off and Sunday is my day off.

As for the capture card it's my Idea and I'm fully willing to pitch in, though my cap is 40$.

I work 4PM till 10PM on Sundays, so unless you want to come around 10:30 AM and play up till like 2:30 or something like that I really can't do much.

Anyway Lou, we usually play on weekdays on the evening (tuesdays and wednesdays) either at Ottawa SF HQ on Bronson/Clemow or at my place in DT Gatineau (one bus from Rideau takes you straight to my place and takes like 15 minutes). Not sure what's up for this week tho, Scott and the others should let us know. I can host either day.

My whole office just got laid off, so my schedule is suddenly a whole lot more flexible. We'll see where my job hunt takes me, but in the meantime, I'm probably down for the HQ this week. (Hell, I might even go both nights and get back into other fighting games!)

So what's good this week? HQ is now open on Thursdays and Fridays instead of Tuesdays so I can't make it out there anymore. I can host either Tuesday or Wednesday evening, whatever fits most peoples' schedule.

yeah it's at my place, no you don,t need controllers since I have ample supplies of every flavor of controllers you can think of (tho one of my sticks is now kaput). It's in downtown Gatineau like I said (one STO bus ride gets you to my place, you can either use an OC transpo transfer OR use your OC transpo card if you have one). I can PM you the full address once you confirm and give you my cell # in case you get lost. There's also some Ottawa players who might be willing to give you a ride but I'll let them come forward instead of forcing them on it because then that would be a DOUCHE MOVE and I'm not that much of an asshole (until I roll out the Nightwolf, then I'm a super asshole).
