I've only played 12 ranked matches, been mostly training but haven't run into any spammers. I've been seeing in some chats that people prefer player matches because you get better fighters. What do you gys prefer?
Yeah, the same thing is happening to me right now. Maybe 6/10 decline and the rest last about a match or two and then ragequit or Quit before the next match. Every once in a while you get a guy that really wants to learn or will play an extended set. Today that was LuciusAxelrod for me.but because I have a good win/loss ratio people either decline or quit after a couple of matches, so I am currently preferring ranked matches until people level up and man up.
I don't have that luxury.offline player matches
damn rightoffline player matches
Can someone react to a 4-frame move offline though ? I really doubt. Surely you can scout for it, but react to ? People have troubles reacting to much slower moves.Neither, online is terrible.
People resort to either using the spammiest move or pick fast enough characters so that players cant react to the 4 frame attacks due to crap netcode.
My schedule (40 hour work week, plus having a wife and child) take up most of my time so online is my only option which is usually a couple times during the week. So I'm learning on my own pace (very slowly I think lol). I created this thread to see which mode provided a better learning experience.Ranked matches for the most part are pointless. I only play ranked when no one else good is on and there's nothing else to do. Ranked players usually are bad and will rage quit anyway. The argument of playing ranked to play a diverse set of characters and playstyles is weak when most of the people that play ranked are terrible.
Start networking and be social with good players. If all you do is play ranked matches to boost your meaningless record or to move up on an arbitrary leaderboard, you will only ever be as good as the scrubs you play.
With that said, 1v1 player matches and 4 player max KoTH. Anything more than 4 is a waste of time for me, and makes me salty when I lose to have to wait 30 minutes to play again.
Yeah blame all those "spamming" moves on the netcode. No way you got outplayed, its all fault of the terrible netcode...Neither, online is terrible.
