CompFGC: a new subreddit. Come join and help grow the FGC!

Reddit is one of the most popular sites around at the moment. It has thriving communities for games like Starcraft and League of Legends, but the fighting game subreddits are all tiny and unused. Well I want to change that, and I need your guys' help!

You are all welcome to promote your live streams, videos, tech, knowledge, salt, grudges and hype there, no matter for what fighting game.

I made the subreddit yesterday, and already I have gotten messages from three people asking for advice. This may sound like a small number, but only 68 people have even seen the subreddit. Reddit has millions of users so even gaining a small fraction of them could be a huge impact for the entire FGC.

Dunno if you can consider /r/fighters, /r/sf4, /r/mvc3, /r/injusticegame, /r/kappa etc "tiny" sub reddits. Which all have around 2000 users or more or less.

2000 users is tiny when looking at the numbers from other games, and reddit as a whole. Also, other than fighters and Kappa those are all game specific, where my goal is to focus on the competitive side of all fighting games.

I would have never thought to go to r/Kappa, and Im mainly trying to get newer players who would have no clue what that is.
