Suggestions on new alt costumes!

Vulcan Hades just talked to me and he had a great idea: A suggestion thread!
So we all know that SSF4 had a lot of new costumes. Some of them are really cool.
And I think there is a chance that we will also see new costumes for MK9 as well in the future.

So post your suggestions! :)
You can also post pictures of course.

Just any old ideas for costumes eh?
Kabal could have a Flash costume for a MK vs DC homage or he can have the Cyber costume he had in his ladder ending or Darth Kabal.
Ermac can have a mummy costume for some Halloween flare.
Smoke can either have a retro cyborg outfit or an updated one.
Raiden can have the outfit Christopher Lambert Raiden wore in the first MK movie.

Also, any DC costumes would rule, but something tells me there's a legal issue there, otherwise shangs fatality woulda been full on joker

How's my volume?
Hm... putting some thought into this:
Scorpion: A costume with him as Hanzo Hasashi, and maskless.
Liu Kang: Old school MK1 costume.
Kung Lao: updated version of one of the 3D MK costumes.
Sub-Zero: Updated Unmasked Sub-Zero costume (from MK3/UMK3)
Sindel: A more regal, less revealing costume.
Ermac: Not sure on this one, gonna have to think about it... something with him maskless.
Reptile: MKDA costume to troll everyone, lol.
Kitana: ...casual Earthrealm clothing. (but gotta keep the high heels)
Johnny Cage: Ninja Mime outfit
Jade: Light armor suit (she's a bodyguard right?).
Mileena: Well in the story some said she should be next in line for the throne, so a (less revealing) version of Shao Kahn's outfit may work.
Nightwolf: Business suit (as if he had gone into the whole gambling business and owned a casino).
Cyrax: The 3D MK's didn't have a bad idea with his alternate: half of the metal is gone so you can see him.
Noob Saibot: Noob could have a reaper outfit but not a skeleton, Saibot could have a slight variation on it, possibly his face is a skull. Both are maskless.
Smoke: Maskless, and more monster-like, like his arcade ending suggests he is.
Sektor: Similar to Cyrax.
Sonya: An actual military outfit, a real one.
Jax: Real military outfit for him too.
Kano: Prison garb.
Stryker: You know those good cop bad cop segments in movies where one of them almost always wear a white shirt with the straps to the pants (overalls?) and khaki's or something? Yeah that.
Shang Tsung: Hm... MK2 or MK3 outfit...
Baraka: MK Gold costume complete with the chest staples.
Kabal: I would say a costume before he was injured but that'd mean you'd have to make new win animations.... Holding this one off til later.
Raiden: like Samsung said, Christopher Lambert costume from the first MK movie wouldn't be bad.
Cyber Sub-Zero: Similar to Cyrax and Sektor.
Sheeva: Well she is of royal heritage so something regal and a lot less revealing just to balance out the other two costumes.
Quan Chi: Updated MK4 outfit.
Also: klassic kostumes for anyone I haven't already mentioned, characters that already have one, or characters with costumes that are really similar to their old costumes (like Kung Lao)

Since Johnny Cages nutpunch (as is now, especially) is a tribute to Jean Claude Van Dammes epic nutpunch in the movie Bloodsport (it must be), he could/should maybe get an outfit like something used in that movie aswell.

I want all preorder classics as well as other classics. As for new costumes..
Cage with a karate suit on with a headband
running with the same stryker idea but have a cop badge necklace around him and deffinatly a holster on the side
Scorpion maskless with skull would be badass

I enjoy a lot of your ideas but this would be awesome. Orange would work, but I think a chain gang alt would be sweet to see him in. His MK1 appearance would be nice to have as well...

Definitely agree with the Raiden MK movie appearance, and Quan Chi MK4.

Ermac UMK3 is a must have...

Some nice ideas here. I would also like to see Mileena in a female Shao Kahn outfit. :)

My suggestions so far:

Cyber Sub-Zero: A costume without the helmet, you can see his real head and blue glowing eyes, but he still has a mask in front of his mouth.
Sonya: I would like to see her MK vs DC costume, I think it was great. :) Or give her a special forces military suit in black, with face camouflage color.

Don't have any more ideas at the moment lol.

Kung Lao: I actually think he looked the coolest in MK3, and its not really too similar to any of his other outfits he's had.
Raiden: MK1, or what he looked like in the MK Legacy that was a badass take on Raiden. I really don't like that blue apron that he always has.
Jax: Thugged out gangsta clothes with the dragon chain (MK DA)
Sub-Zero: MK3!!!
Smoke: Either the cyborg or his crazy MKD design
Noob Saibot: all black, original Noob
Kabal: Trenchcoat outfit he had in MKD
Kano: Bald like in MK3
Kitana: I think a dark evil version of Kitana would be tight, or cyborg versions of all the female ninjas
Sheeva: Mecha Sheeva
Reptile: MK4
Quan Chi: MK4
Shang Tsung: MK3
Baraka: Edward Scissorhands costume
Jade: Big afro disco style costume
Cyber Sub Zero: Classic MK3 Cyrax/Sektor design but blue

Ermac's alt #2 in MK9 is actually my favorite costume for him - very dark and just right. :)

How about for the ninjas, version like in the movies. Not super buff, and covered arms with long black sleeves. I hate seeing the ninjas so buff, just bothers me a bit. Scorpions alternate could also have his spear get a snake look. And why doesn't scorpions current classic have all white eyes? I love the look of the ninjas in Annihilation. Just look at the subzero vs scorpion fight in it. They loook way badass, and they're not super buff action figures.

I have to admit... the retro Cryax/Sektor ones are GDLK is 100000000 ways.

Oddly enough, I'm not a fan of the retro ninjas... but I think because they need to be more UMK3 style - those were beast.

I think as far as retro goes, every character should ger their first appearance costume. Then after that id just like to see original stuff
