Many would agree with you. Many more, however, would rip you apart like the rabid fanboys they are. There is a reason (not a good reason mind you) that Batman won Battle Arena.

Some side kicks are more interesting? If Robin... the most famous side kick of all times didn't make it... no other sidekick will.

Robin did make it in thought, well Dick Grayson did anyways. And the other one.
Dick is pretty much the only one (along with a few other Robins) who are more interesting to me than their mentor.

But Dick was Robin, I suppose he is a Robin no longer. But basically one who is Robin-like AKA Nightwing made it in. And as much as people love to say he isn't he is still pretty much a Batman sidekick. Sure he goes off and does things by himself, but the association is forever there.
In the same way that even if she was to return as Spoiler in the New 52 I would still remember Stephanie as a Batgirl.

Basically the most interesting sidekick made it in is what you should take away from this discussion.
Also so many sidekicks could be done as alts it's ridiculous: Cassie/Wonder Girl, Red Arrow/Aresnal, Superboy, Batgirl etc.

I'll honestly be shocked if MMH doesn't make it in. He won like several polls by a landslide, and if he's isn't in I blam DC Comics, cause it sounds like Boon knows he is wanted and the only way I could see NRS not trying to cash in on that is if the higher ups at DC get in the way and force them into doing something stupid like not putting MMH in.

Hopefully Boon is just trolling, sometimes you can't tell with him.

Any choice over MMH who is a key member of the original Justice League is just a stupid decision. That would be like having an Avengers game and leaving out either Iron Man, Thor or The Hulk.

Come on, thats not even a fair comparison. All three of those have been in several big-budget blockbuster movies, and thus are much more widely known. I don't read comics and I literally had no idea who MMH was until people started posting about him on TYM.

If anything, it'd probably be a DC thing, like how Marvel refused Cyclops in MvC3.
