You guys need to cool out on that "MK is dead" shit lol. MK9 isn't dead, we are at a point where a brand new game came out and everyone is trying it out to see how it goes. Nobody really knows too much about the game yet because it is fairly new but I do know that mortal kombat is still hype as fuck. I love mortal kombat and I still believe its the best fighting game ever made next to tekken. Those 2 games are hands down my favorite and most enjoyable to play. SF is not appealing at all to me and neither is marvel, soul calibur was cool I liked that but the point is we are trying a new game out and everyone is basically racing to be the best. Like I said because this is new, nobody doesn't really know much about it yet so every character is viable at this point, it just depends on how much you know/ don't know about your character or your opponent's character.
