[RUMOR] GET OVER HERE? 4 DLC Characters Revealed

I really don't think they would be so stupid to release Scorpion, Batgirl and Zod as DLC... really from the marketing point of view it's bad, sales point of view it's bad, fan point of view it's bad, hypocrisy point of view it's bad also since they wanted to make a new game and get away from MK for a while but they put Scorpion also the fact that they always said if a character is really requested he/she will most likely be DLC - which Scorpion, Batgirl, even Zod are not! ;)

I like the idea of MMH and Atrocitus, but is it so hard for them to make Black Canary rather than a Superman clone with boobs? Gah. I thought BC was a shoe-in because of her semi-similarity to Sindel. GIVE ME HER, DAMMIT. SHE'S FUCKING BEAST.

If this is true, then Boon is The Master of trolling... and I will be happy with MMH, Captain cold and Black Canary even though I prefer others.

List makes sense to me. Batgirl's NEW52 book is one of DC's most well recieved titles since the reboot. And with MOS coming out, Zod will be huge. And Scorpion will bring in the Mortal Kombat players.

It makes more sense for them save the big hitters like MMH, Red Hood, Canary, Fate, etc. for a sequal. Which will no doubt happen.

I agree with most of what you said but most, if not all of the MK crowd is already here so they are being foolish to throw in Scorpion before other DC characters who are way more deserving than him.

having a successful comic book is not equal to being a playable character in a game especially when the game already has Batman and Nightwing/Damian, unless she is an alt.
MK players are already in so they know they don't need Scorpion for that.
Zod just like Batgirl is a copy character kind of (so i am so not here for that.
I am sure all the characters in this one are very much gonna be in a sequel so really keeping someone like MMH, Canary, Fate, Zatanna etc who are the most demanded characters, for a "POSSIBLE" not for sure happening sequel that if it does, might happen maybe 4 years from now does not make sense since they can make them DLC and milk the money from it now!

I'm with you on all of that, but IF it is true, I'm sure Batgirl & Zod were more a DC decision than NRS. I'd much rather have everyone you mentioned, but it's not my call.

than i guess DC doesn't know shit about the gaming community and how characters work. And I also thought NRS had liberties over the game? I mean as in they decide who they include and not DC?

They worked together, but DC has final say over everything involving their characters. Boon talked about it in a video. There were a few things DC restircted them from doing in this game.

Edit: And yeah, DC doesn't care what fans want.

i don't think DC really needs Injustice to promote Man of Steel though or the other way around!
And i think that the Batgirl, Zod and Scorpion thing is fake... it really sucks from a marketing point of view, if those characters needed promotion they would include them in the initial roster and not DLC which is mainly for the gaming community, and everyone knows damn well that people will buy Lobo but few will spend money on BG, Zod and especially Scorpion. so i'll say this again from a marketing and business point of view this would be a disastrous choice of DLC ;)

A lot of people already bought the Season Pass before any characters were revealed. Then even more bought it after Lobo was shown. And I think Zod is more to promote Superman in general, than the movie. They've already done it with Aquaman using this game.

well do you think they would risk dissapointing all the Season Pass buyers like that? I mean these are only rumors and i already saw people saying how they regret buying it. That also from a Marketing point of view would suck for them. Fans would rage.

I think after they've taken our money, they couldn't care less. lol But, I hope I'm wrong and this rumour is false. But, there's evidence pointing both ways. One silouette definitely looked a lot like MMH. And he was teased just as much as Lobo, so there's still hope.

also i shall remind you all that Boon said something interesting when he revealed LOBO during the interview he said characters like Martian Manhunter, Lobo, Power Girl and Red Hood are very requested. The fact that he put MMH and Power Girl (both hinted a lot) next to Lobo an already confirmed character that was hinted heavily also, is very interesting. Not sure if Red Hood was ever hinted (i'd deffo take him instead of Batgirl btw)
