Greetings.
I've had my eye on Injustice for some time, but only recently did it I develop a serious interest in the game. Injustice looks and sounds like a lot of fun, and everything I've been hearing about it competitively interests me. Thus, I decided to pick it up, with my primary goal to become a competitive force to be reckoned with in the community.
I started playing fighting games - Tekken 2, specifically - when I was three years old, and have been playing them ever since. I have been competitively active in Soul Calibur (Siegfried) and Virtua Fighter (Goh), and have casually played Tekken (Dragunov), Dead or Alive (Brad), Persona 4: Arena (Kanji), and SF3: Third Strike (Alex). I'm completely green when it comes to Mortal Kombat and its system, but I'm very eager to learn.
I'm very interested in playing Bane, and also interested in trying out Nightwing, Green Arrow, Joker, and Green Lantern, in roughly that order. I have been hearing a bit of disappointment about Bane and grapplers in general. Hopefully, through long discussion and hard work with fellow Bane players, we can work together to abate this discontent before it becomes an ever-present cloud of melancholy hanging over our heads.
As far as comics go, I know very little about them except from what I've learned through movie and video game adaptions. I have a friend (who is also picking up Injustice) who knows much more about comics than myself and is helping me get into comics with one of the latest issues of Nightwing. I'm unsure as to how much I'll get into comics, but the fact that I'm starting makes me realize that Injustice has more or less become the center of my attention as far as fighting games go.
