Hello from Sactown.
Old school gamer here who's never jumped properly into 2d fighting games.
I watch alot of Jtv streams so I understand the mechanics of the games, doing it is another issue. I've just dabbled with SSF4 and never really learned anything beyond mashing a few special moves. In the middle of fight it all goes out the window for me.
My question is, how do you approach learning a character in MK?
I'm looking for exact things you do? Do you go into training and repeat a 4-5 string combo till it's in muscle memory? I'm hoping for someone to give me an exact regiment to follow for a bit so I can get to the point where it clicks.
I assume the speed of the game slows down alot once you get to that point.
Thanks for reading.
