I don't really know how much stock to put in this, but I hope for the love of god it is not true, it's literally my worst nightmare come to light, another Bat, another Kryptonian, a bloody guest character and Poison Ivy over Swamp Thing.

Are people forgetting that Ed Boon is a master troll? If anything, I think this is just a red herring. Batgirl is taking the place of the female hero who will actually be DLC, whether it's Black Canary or Power Girl; Zod is a placeholder for (insert highly requested villain here); and Scorpion is probably supposed to be MMH. I'm not sure if Scorpion is actually considered a hero, but it seems likely that MMH will make it because of the unofficial vote Ed Boon had on his twitter. Wih all of the requests he's getting, they'd be crazy to leave him out. He uses these specific characters to keep the proportions of the cast the same. Half heroes and half villains, 1/4 of the cast being female. Another reason why these characters aren't likely DLC is that they stated in past interview that they want Injustice to stay separated from MK.

TL;DR - Ed Boon is trolling as always, but he's giving clues on who the DLC characters are - two villains and two heroes, one of the heroes being female.

i really hope so because if hes in ill be pissed and who knows maybe i may not buy another game from nrs again simply because i noticed not just with this game but mk9 as well that they say things like well if fans want it we will do it and promised dlc stages for mk9 and never followed through

and if we only get 4 dlc charachters i think thats pretty pointless and a waste of 15 bucks because 4 dlcs plus 100 plus skins as the only content is bad imo and ruins the replay value alot

Like Rain being in the attract mode of MK3 and never actually existing till UMK3.

Me? More hope of characters? Not at all, I don't care. I'm talking about Ed Boon saying "I honestly can't say that there will be four and only four". Season Passes only encompass the DLC of the season pass so "all dlc will be released by August" could easily be referring to only that pass. There is the potential for more than four, not saying there is or isn't but there is the potential for it.

They should release single player episodes. Something like 5 fights and about 10 minutes of cinematics for a ~20 minute experience just like a TV show.

Eh, it could have been better, and if they try it again it might be better then the first attempt. Had they made Scorpion's Outtur be his Toasty fatality people wouldn't have bitched as much about lack of fatality.

That's kind of funny, Joker lighting someone on fire is actually more brutal then what we got in MKvsDC and it cuts away. Then again Joker just scares me in general, seriously I found his intro with the dead cop disturbing and not in the MK "HAHAH!" over the top funny way.

Very unlikely you would get an all-male DLC. Considering that when NRS was making the roster based of gender, among other things, then they would also base the DLC off of gender.

I am down for Scorpion being DLC. Not here for Zod or Batgirl though...then again not here for Lobo either.

But yeah, I figure these are placeholders. I mean the demand for MMH is insane so he is definitely a shoe-in. I would like for Starfire to be included (she better ultra dragalicious though) but whatever.

Well it would certainly utilise the term "Season Pass" to its full potential. I for one would prefer multiple season passes to just one seasons pass.

No joke, The Joker in this game is quite frankly unnerving both when he enters and when he wins. I was never really frightened by him but this game really went IN on presenting his psychotic side.

Though, not gonna lie, getting his crowbar beat down as I played my boo Nightwing (yeah, yeah, I know it's not Jason Todd) made me smile the first time.

If these are true I think that they are all great choices for new characters, except for scorpion. He just doesn't fit in to the Super Hero/Villain Community. I think they should add killer Croc instead, but that is just my opinion.

I'll play whatever comes my way, but if any MK makes it in over any DC character being added to an all DC game I will be highly irritated by it. This aint a crossover title. I want to keep it all DC so I can continue living out my dream matchups from comics not have that interrupted by cameos.

That said if Batgirl makes it in I want an Oracle alt. I wanna roflstomp me some Superman with a wheelchair bound redhead on stream.
