Hi guys i am new to MK and 2d fightings in general coming from Tekken i'm kinda struggling with Mk's combo system feels strange to me but i will get used to it
i havent played online yet (psn) but i know for a fact that my connection sucks and lag will be terrible but still i want to play online.
i tried Smoke,NightWolf,Cage,Cyrex,Reptile(top tier whoring;))
but non of them clicked with me there combos feel odd to me or are too timing based for online
but then i Tried Mileena i dont know what is it with her - are her combos that easy or what but it just feels right i think i will be able to make nearly all her combos in lagy online
i don't think that i will stick with her though
so yeah i'm looking for characters with easy -lag freindly juggles

It's a damn shame that we have to resort to this, but with the awful lag, it's really the only option to those of us who have no one in person to play. Anyway, I've been maining Mileena as of late. Her combos seem to not be as strict as others. I've been using the following online:

u+4, u+4, b+1,4, 1,1,2, ball, 1,1, neck bite (or x-ray)

b+3, ball, u+4, b+1,4, 1,1,2, neck bite (or x-ray)

jump in 1/2,2,3, ex ball, u+4, b+1,4, 1,1,2, ball, jump 3/4, instant air sai

Instant air sai seems to be effective online. I really hope they fix the netcode. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the game, but man is the online depressingly shitty. =(

Are there any other characters with combos like this no strict timing that u can sort of input as fast as posible? i am looking for chars with easy 30%+ non x-ray combos, so i can focus on actual gameplay
love Mileena's u+4 but the ball... i think i will mess normal cancels into the ball online and it is so unsafe
planing to try Kitana and Kabal.

Kabal is a punish character and requires strict offline timing. You gonna burn yourself with him learning him online.

Also I'm not a Kitana player, but I'm pretty sure that her combos are considered some of the strictest in the game. Something about requiring you to work around negative edge really hard.

Liu kang or Kung Lao, on the other hand, I've heard are beastmode online... <.<

Kitana isn't really all that bad. I'm able to do her EX fan throw cancel combos without much problem along with her basic stuff, too. I never utilize negative edge. Seems to do way more harm than good...

I believe it's specifically the BnB that people complain about (f+2,1, u1, 4~fan, 4~lift, double dash, b+2~fan, fan, 4~d,f+2). Offline it's a guaranteed 51% no-bar combo from anywhere on the screen but online I keep hearing about how hairy it is.

Again though, not a Kitana player so dunno.

Studying all of her moves
From my playing around in the lab, Quan Chi seems pretty lag friendly since most of his longer combos end with his trance special. Believe his back 1, 2 combo creates pretty air for a juggle.

reptile, so long as your not doing 312 into nj p then all his basic bnb's you can do with your eyes closed. 122 slow forceball 312 fast forceball 312 slide.

Kung lao is also pretty easy too, don't know his bnb's but you can usually easily land jump kick, dive kick, f3 spin all the time.

Raiden and Liu Kang. Eemac as well, he has arguably the easiest combbos next to Kang.

Waiting for MKF30 now.

Liu Kang is definitely the easiest in my book when it comes to online lag. Also Ermac's BnB isn't too bad online most of the time

raiden and ermac are my mains right now. try either of those. id have to say raiden is the most lag friendly and hes quick as shit.

sub, you don't have to be good at juggling with him, much of his good combos are on the ground strings. his combos are pretty much lag proof unless the connection is totally unbearable.

Yall don't be silly. Under NORMAL lag conditions, combos really aren't that difficult to pull off. You will always have slight lag, but the trick to making sure it doesn't mess up your combos, is don't get antsy inputting the commands. I main KL, and some of the combo timing can be very tight, it's just a matter of practice. When you get online, make sure you are very precise with your combos. If you're supposed to do, for example with KL, 112, spin, dive kick, 1, EX. hat toss, dont just hit

1111122222, df1, df1, u u u u u, trying to get it off. be precise. 112, DF1, MEANS 112, DF1.
