It's going to be Xbox 360 this time around...right?

Because well...it's once again better so can we start out fresh this time?

It's up to TOs, sony vs microsoft support, etc. It'll probably be on PS3 though.
What do you think makes it better on xbox (not saying you're wrong, just curious because i havent played both versions).

i heard tom said the graphics and load time were worse....but what does that have to do with tournament play is my question.
It doesn't, it won't get changed based on load times and graphics. Although I know Xbox is more prominent among the capcom crowd so this could maybe change.

well screw them we ain't switch consoles because they prefer xbox that's silly. Marvel and AE got a reason to be on 360 this doesn't. btw...Wiiu version looks better than both.:D

Low tier? I was born in it, molded by it
If there's any anomalies between the systems, the less of two evils will be picked probably.

Kung Fu Treachery
I have the 360 version and my friend has the Ps3 version. I haven't noticed any differences. Granted, I haven't had much time with his copy. We generally play at my house.

Plus, isn't the ability to have the same profile and DLC across multiple Ps3's a good reason to keep it there? Or do TO's generally just buy multiple season passes anyway?

If they are the majority at tournaments then the TOs will take that into accouny. Either way it shouldn't matter, all you need is a converter and the system choice won't affect you.

i still need to get an xbox converter. Also if that's ture why isn't SC5 and TT2 ran on 360? The name of the game is to go with the system that works for the game not," Well i have 5 games that run good on 360, while two run well on ps3. I should make it all 360 then!"

^ that isn't true. Mk was proven to run better on Xbox and it was on PS3.

There are a lot of factors :( I heard Ps3 has way longer load times, and apparently there is a some things that could potentially work on PS3 that do not on Xbox (lex's infinite).

That doesn't work on PS3. How silly.

I'm pretty sure the only reason that Lex's infinite works/worked on PS3 was because the Day 1 patch wasn't out right away for them (IIRC).

Well that's a huge relief. Still, if the superior system for the game (even with load times) is Xbox can we just start by playing that system?

I have both versions of the game. The only major difference I've noticed is the quicker load time on the Xbox (game installed). Graphics appear to be about the same. Netcode seems to be about the same for the 100+ games that I played on. Sometimes it will seem super smooth and other times it is pretty laggy but that's only expected. I'll probably play this a more on the Xbox because I'm impatient and those few seconds of load time will add up in the long run. For tournament standards, I don't think it really matters too much.

see you at the top.
As there is such inconsistency and indecisiveness in regards to this issue, I feel as though more discussion, especially from tournament organizers and competitors, needs to be had. Should we follow ECT V's footsteps and use the Xbox 360 as it is proven to be more equipped to handle Injustice, or should we follow EVO's standard and maintain the Playstation 3 standard?

There are positives and negative associated with either choice. For example, switching to Xbox would be expensive for most of the Injustice community as a large proportion of said community is comprised of former MK9 players. An Xbox 360, Live subscription, Injustice for Xbox game, adapters, dual mods, DLC, etc. - such expenses add up quickly.

Maintaining the Playstation 3 standard has but one glaring issue - disruptive gameplay lag spikes. Another issue associated with maintaining this standard are wireless controllers that disrupt gameplay when not disconnected properly.

Again, I believe more discussion needs to take place regarding an issue that can affect anyone who plans to compete - inconsistency.

I've chosen not to add a pole as I want to gauge the opinions of those who actually plan to either host or compete in tournaments as this issue effects them alone.
