Don't Know how to convince someone like this....

Got A Guy Online who likes fighting games quite a bit but he always saw injustice as being just an upgraded MK9 that he'd only get if swamp thing was announced

even if after playing the demo he still thought it was just an upgraded MK9 but he was a bit more positive about it and thought it was fun

unfortunately he just doesn't see this as something that would keep a person playing even a month after it's release

I'd like to prove him wrong somehow but i know he won't get out of the mindset that this game is just MK9 with dc characters and it won't last long as a fighting game

If I personally were going to convince someone who thought that way, I would have to tell them that I thought just as they did. I went in expecting MK9 with DC characters, which in all honesty, was what I was hoping for. To me, the only thing that is even remotely similar to MK9 is the way combos are done (and even that's been slightly changed). The mechanics are totally different. Perhaps you could put it to your friend that way? However, I'm well pleased with what we're getting.

i don't know how many people on my friends list are even buying this game...i seem to be the only one hyping it up(i mention injustice on my ps3 user comment)and nobody else has said a thing about it to me

In addition, as far as the longevity of the game goes: I have a feeling this game will be around for quite awhile, due to the influx of new players from various fighting game communities who previously shunned MK9.

seems harder than you think i wouldn't know where to start....random message boards tend to give me crazy people and there aren't really any gamers in the area just lots of elderly people

the one person i wanted to hype it up with online isn't on that much because he works every day and only gets mondays off hardly has any time to sleep before he has to go to work(works at the post office)so anytime he spends with me tends to be very brief unless it's his day off(he used to get tuesdays off but they took that away from him and they like to constantly change his hours so he never knows when he's expected to show up)

You can find friends when Injustice drops, you can find friends here as well.

Plenty of people on this site to play with/talk about the game with, yes?

I was in the same situation trying to get 3 of my best friends hyped for the game since they loved MK9 but nowadays none of them have the time to even chat for 5min on fb let alone play games with me.

I just leave it be as it isn't something I can do much about.

it just sucks in my opinion...Captain0059(the psn friend i like to chat with)is just taking a lot of crap from his boss and being forced to work late at night and only has time to relax on mondays he's been so busy that the last time i chatted with him and spoke about injustice he didn't know much about it..that is to say he forgot all about it things have been so hectic for him

i usually skype chat with him using my vita...sadly i don't even know if he'll be buying injustice due to how little time he gets to do what he wants and talk to his friends

I have almost the same issue with my brother, he dont like MK9, he really dislike the combo system I mean to have to dial up the combos. We played the demo and he like the clash, the interactables, the stage transition, the flow of the game, even the wonderwoman super! but he cant stand the dial up combos (on the contrary I like it a ton!). I get to play 2 months of Mk9 but that was all, I hope with the new videos coming up and future injustice tournament footage he change his opinion, maybe you should do the same, invite him to watch some tournaments so he can get hype.

Yea, it sucks, but that's life. Can't really do anything unless he gets (or makes) the time to invest in the game. Believe me, I tried with my 3 friends (and I love them like they're brothers) but with them consumed by school, work and events with other friends I just can't do anything about it :/
