No Reason To Live, But I Like It That Way.
Hello Hemlock! I loved reading about you! You seem like someone who I would definitely get along with irl!
You sound very sweet and down to earth. I had a lot of fun reading about you. I hope we can become good friends on here! :D

p.s. Also congratulations on coming out to your friends and family! You are very brave. That must have taken a lot of courage to do. I want you to know that I 110% got your back and I am very proud of you for not being afraid to be open about it. <3

Thanks Dislexsik and drivingblind666 - you guys are nice (and thanks to everyone else who reads my thread.)

- I've been playing a lot of Street Fighter X Tekken and watching videos online of pro players. Crazy stuff.
- Just got a Controller grip for my PS Vita. THIS will make playing MK on the go that much better! Excited.
- In a cranky mood. Oh well!

May I ask, why are you vegetarian?
You may! It started when I made friends with a vegetarian in college and I realized that his vegetarianism was more than just a diet choice, it was a philosophy of reducing harm and suffering in the world. I thought that was cool. I took some philosophy classes and we spent a lot of time talking about the ethics of killing/murder/abortion/meat production. I decided that I didn't want to eat meat, but I had such an addiction/habit - it felt like it took about 2 years to move through the decision completely. It was tough. If I had to go back and do it again, I would have transitioned smoothly. There was a philosophy professor who gave a lecture and afterwards we had a conversation about it. The next day I woke up and I haven't eaten meat since! (2002)

So my main reason is to reduce harm and suffering and respect the lives of animals. Since then, i've discovered health benefits, monetary benefits, and a HUGE ecological benefit. It's not always easy and I can get pretty grumpy about it, but I think it is right for me and is positively benefiting myself and the world. Thanks for asking. Feel free to ask more questions - have you been thinking about it for yourself at all?

When I log in to TYM, I check out the most recent posts and status updates. They are usually all about Injustice. I think to myself, "That's cool that everyone likes Injustice, but boy it'd be cool if there was a website just for Mortal Kombat!"

And then I realize...

....I'M ON IT.

I was out of the country for a long time. I also moved from IL to WI. I'm tired. The end.

1. I read your intro, you've got a nice grasp of the written word there, I liked it. I'm juicepouch, it's nice to meet you!
2. Out of curiosity, where did you move to in Wisconsin? I live in Illinois but I'm within spitting distance of the border?
3. Glad you like it here, I was having a lot of the same feelings (having trouble talking to people mostly) like you did when I joined. It's been a great environment for me here as well:D

Sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed this! I live in a tiny town right on the northern border of Illinois called Hebron. For reference, it's directly south of a slightly larger town that's a sortof tourist attraction called Lake Geneva, and it's (by my rough estimation) an hour and change away from Milwaukee
