idk injustice doesnt shit on mk, but if the netcode improves greatly, then it will. i do have to say it takes time getting used to a new game, but for the most part i am having a lot of fun in this game and im glad it doesnt play exactly like mk 9.

injustice gets a thumbs up from me!

Well, the final roster has been leaked by a WB Employee(stupid lol). Anyone interested just search Injustice Full Game Leak and the tweet will pop right up.

I had it fully paid off and preordered before the demo came out. But I think it might hurt it overall for the MK audience because they were expecting something much more similar apparently. But for casuals or people who just love DC I think it'll be fine. As long as the game gets good reviews all these uncertain people will get it. The DC fans who have been excited for months now will probably get it anyways. The demo lowered my excitement for the game but that's mostly because it has no online and no training mode and 3 characters that I ended up not liking all that much. Fine by me, I got Bioshock, Tomb Raider, BattleBlock Theater and LoL to play until April 16th. Didn't need to be addicted to a demo anyways.

I'd rather not have had a demo in full honesty. Time and resources that could have been spent better elsewhere, all so a bunch of people(as stupid as they may or may not be) will complain about an unfinished demo. Everybody that's going to buy this game would have bought it even if there wasn't a demo. Now some people might be on the fence or just flat out decided to skip over the game.

Not to mention the constant fucking threads about it on this site.

No I'm glad it came out. It allows us to get a feel of the game. I want the game now more then before.

Only down side is that I have to still use my sticks to play it. I don't know what it is about nrs games even this one. :(

I just want to main The Flash and Green Arrow so bad in this game, that's all, fuck batman and lex luthor.

With the full rooster allowed, i think the in depth of the game will go even further that already is on the demo, that's for sure

He's a real life friend of mind :( don't know why he did it really. BUT he didn't actually leak it he just advertised the leak..

FULL GAME WILL FEEL LIKE DEMO

PERIOD

this isnt like a 10 month old release people lol
How old is the ps3 one? I'm wondering if comboing into a special from a full string will stay or not in the final build. (I just found this out about 2 hours ago, after finally playing the demo with a friend.)

I thought we already knew the full roster? Unless this is including DLC. (I'm not searching for it, just curious)

Ares and Killer Frost were never officially confirmed by NRS. We're just really good guessers ;)

Paulo said on Jer's stream I think it was that the 360 demo was from a 2 month old build and that the ps3 demo was from an older version than that.

A few principles that never seem to change:

1) Negative people are always louder than everyone else. Complainers like to be heard
2) The first people to write opinions on anything are those who are rushing to make a quick judgement and say "it's the best ever" or "it sucks". Check any reviews site just after a major game launches.
3) If there's a big crowd full of energy and excitement surrounding the game, some haters will come around anyway. MvC3 is a broken game, and hardly anyone seems to care. No doubt they'd be complaining about it if it was another franchise.

im guessing 2 months

the demo was meant for casual gamers, it doesnt really matter what people think about it now because its a good enough game for any fighting game player too at least try out.

slighty disappointed
Releasing an alpha demo and then a beta demo is an excellent design choice.
- It gets them playtesting
- Playtesting gets them feedback
- Feedback allows for corrections in development
- Corrections in development lead to fewer patches and a greater chance at nailing balance off the bat, and only needing to put out minor tweaks once the game has ran a course of about 6 months and most things have been explored and discovered by the community, yet again ready for a revision.

The demo, was a good idea. It will make the end product so much better.

im hooked to the demo. being an old build does the game injustice though. and it should have had superman instead of lex

Demos historically have been bad for sales, which is what matters ultimately. This one is no exception.
Odds that it brought in new customers are low, odds that it turned off some people who may have bought it are high, odds that people who were on the fence were swayed to buy it... some probably were, most will probably wait for reviews, some were definitely swayed not to buy it.
I think it's good that they showed other menu options that you cant access yet but that will be in the game; that's a good enticement move.

Final verdict: Demo probably did more harm than good, but was a crowd pleaser for people that were already going to buy it.

I just wanted to quote something simple.
My point is that demos help development.
Though it has been a good point raised above that SOME demos were bad in gaming history, for sales.
Then again those who played Blizzard game demos, know what a well placed demo does to sales..
