Lots of people having alot of trouble dealing with Doomsday's badass armor trait activation.
I got may ass whooped all up and down Gotham until I started using safe methods to combat his armor.
Note that while his armor is up he still takes hits HE does NOT have super armor! all your attacks will have little advantage on hit
attacks will have less advantage on block
will not be able to link combos
Doomsday can not be knocked down
Air to airs don't lead to combos, just stops doomsday momentum
doomsday takes half damage from interactables
Doomsday can block attacks, but rarely does it in the demo
these are the most noticeable changes you will see.
TIPS:
Don't Jump In! the AI does not make mistakes often, jump in only if you have bats on him
Batman can combat this stuff easy with his tools. This is exactly what I do.
Get in with B3; back heavy has tons of range and will give you advantage to begin pressure
attack with 123 for advantage, and FASTLY use B23 to make tons of space. try not to leave a large gap between 123 and B23 or Doomsday will destroy you. you must be fast with pressure.
Note that dooms day will back dash away from the explosion every time after B23. keep that it mind
when your full screen you can make him jump with a batarang, if you have meter use the batarang MB to keep him out of the air. this will give tons of advantage for a B3 or bat trait dash in.
zone with bats hard when you have the space, Bats are crazy to get an easy combo when he does not have meter. when does, having at least one bat will be enough to stop him from rushing in while he has armor up.
Use you B3 and F3 MB armor, its extremely useful to avoid massive combo damage.
after a attack string fails always block or back dash out of there!. back dashing is much more safe then you think. he won't be able to just destroy you for back dashing after a safe string.
122 is a decent string to keep distance as long as you have one bat or its punishable.
F2 closes distance like nobodies business! is advantage on block as well, follow up with 123 B23
